Hello Gentlemen!

I am a new comer to this site. I've been living in Japan now for over 2 years and have finally gained enough interest to try a soapland and some other establishments around town. And since this place seems to pop up the most when it comes to reviews and reports on information in this niche of entertainment I thought I would inquire here so I am not walking in blind.

I am particularly interested in Kings Club, since I hear they are gaijin friendly in particular. ( I am American, but I look half Japanese even though I don't have a drop of it in me)

Anyway, the most recent posts on this particular place seem a few months old and have gone cold, so I wanted to start a new one to see if anyone has followed up on it.

The biggest problem I have with it is 1) there are two girls that I would pay BIG money to see and if they look anywhere near close to their pictures it would be money well spent, but I am hearing mixed reviews about Kings Club. Half say its fantastic and Half come up with some very peculiar stories like managers pulling a switcheroo on them at the last second, or girls who are straight up completely different from advertised and treat the whole experience with the same amount of enthusiasm for the job as fry cook at McDonalds.

Since I figure there is a good chance I will probably get upselled with a gaijin charge and I am budgeting for extra cash just in case I can haggle for the EXACT girl I want, I would be really put off on the whole scene if I blew close to half a grand and something fell through or it was a bad experience.

I am particularly interested if they let Gaijin have full range of choice from the girls list ( provided I went at the time the girl I want to meet with is supposed to be working there ). Is calling ahead of time to check if she is there a possibility? Or is it better to go in person etc.

Any advice, reviews, and input for Kings Club in particular would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Kings Club used to be friendly in the past, but they are better described now as Gaijin Tolerant. Whatever course you decide on bring that plus 10 000 extra for the tax.

Honestly I recommend Darling Harbour just down the road. No tax there.

Thanks for the heads up on the tolerant bit. The girl I want to visit there (in my opinion of course) is worth the extra 10,000. But when yousay Tolerant do you mean you can barely get by nowadays? Can you still walk in not knowing much Japanese and still request a girl in English say?

They used to have an English booking form on their site, compared to now when it's all Japanese and I believe they don't have any staff that speak English anymore. It's entirely possible you won't get the girl you are looking for. When I walked by there a few weeks ago the tout ignored me, even though I made eye contact, so yeah.

10K is pretty standard Gaijin up-charge, even if you speak Japanese from the research I've done.

I think the chances of you getting called into a Yoshiwara club are pretty good these days, but as others have said, your mileage is going to vary depending on time of day, Japanese ability, and level of quality you are interested in. I've messaged a few of them (specifically Club X on the low er end and Oushitsu on the high end) and they were perfectly fine with foreigners, although I messaged them in Japanese.

As stated before though I am looking for 2 or 3 girls from Kings Club specifically, and really honestly don't mind the up-charge involved if it means getting the girl I want. Is booking over the phone better? My Japanese ability is very limited and I am wondering if its possible to go further in terms of haggling or choosing power by trying to book well in advance online or over the phone or if its better to just go there and point to the exact girl I want.

I've heard many stories of guys being shortchanged and getting the bait and switch which is something I want to avoid if I can, even if it means paying more for the girl in the picture.

Hard to say. If you don't have much Japanese ability, I don't know if there's a better means of booking. Any sort of advance booking is going to be much better than showing up cold, obviously. Unfortunately, just about every P4P situation in Japan usually requires paying up front before getting to meet the girl and/0r getting to see what services the girl actually offers. With very reputable organizations, this usually isn't a problem, and this also isn't a big a deal with Japanese ability, etc, etc, so I don't really know what to tell you. If Kings understands English at all you may want to a) verify that the girl is working at the time you are booking and b) clarify that the girl you want to see is the one that you are booking. That's probably the best you can do.

I went to KC some 2 yers ago, when it was the most popular soapland in Yoshiwara for gaijins. I called, and booked a specific girl. I got the ususal pick up from the station, and got serviced by the girl I had booked. My japanese language ability was very basic, but everyone made the effort to understand me. Unfortunately, KC, for some reasons, unknown to me, have since, more or less, closed their doors to gaijins.
According to many posts here and elsewhere, the new "gaijin friendly" soapland is now Darling harbour...
