First time for me in a Japanese soapland club. Since I already tried Thai soapy a few times, I will compare the 2 in this review.

Kings club was on my to do list so I went to check that today. I was presented 4 cards by a guy from the club. All 4 seemed really good looking... on the pictures :) Then the guy recommended me the first one and I accepted. Waiting for her, I though I might had made a mistake accepting the best possible choice... for the club :) But then she came and she is good looking, nothing like her picture of course but still cute. Probably late 20 - early 30, definitively not over 35. She speak just a few words of English.

This is one of the down for the Japanese soapy compared to the Thai ones. In the Thai soapy you have the fishbowl which help a lot in the choosing process. You can have some bad surprise with a closer look after but it is unlikely and photoshop is out of the picture ;) One other advantage of the fishbowl: you already have some interaction with the ladies. Some of them will smile and wave at you and, actually, if you chose one who didn’t, you’r up for a bad service :)

Then we went to the room and it is another down for the Japanese soapy. I dont know if it is the case for all soapland in Tokyo, but the room looked like an ok ST room in Thailand (this is not a compliment) with a bathtub on one side :)

Nothing there to stop me, I have been in bad st rooms (and worst) in the past. Action started with her washing me and then some nuru gel action. Ok, that was a big up for the Japanese Soapland, this nuru gel is nothing to compare to the soap they use in Thailand. Another big up, bbbjcim seem to be a standard in Japanese soapland and very rare in Thai ones, a big plus for me as this open a lot of possibilities during the mat play.

After the first round we talked a bit, thx to google translate, and took some refreshment. Second round was on the bed.

Looking at her profile on the website, I found out Ena is new in Kings Club, this is probably why she was recommended to me. Since it was my first time I cant compare her service to any other provider from Japan. If I compare this experience to the services I received in Thailand I would definitively put Japan soapland first. But maybe I got lucky...

Final Thoughts:
Recommended, Will not Repeat.

Anyone to open a genuine Japanese Soapland in Paris? ;)

All the soapland I've been to in Japan have shitty rooms, even the high-end ones. They look nice or even luxurious at first glance, but when you look closely, the furnitures are quite old. I once accidentally uncovered the bed sheet and found the bed covered with patches in a high-end shop. There's also a very old and out of date cabinet(like a showa period thing) in another high-end soapland I've been to.

Can't compare Japanese soapland rooms to Thailand ones though, cuz I usually take girls back to my hotel when I'm in Thailand. ;)

There are regulations in place (meant to starve them out) that forbid them renovating the places.

The history and current legal standing of Yoshiwara soaplands is actually quite interesting. My understanding is renovating the place will strip them of their soapland licenses. Soaplands in Yoshiwara will quite literally collapse with the passage of time without a change in regulations.

Having said that, merci for the review. Sounds like you had a good time.

Too bad, soappies are an interesting concept and Japan seems to be able to provide good quality services. I have never been really convinced by the same service in Thailand. I have tried a few, got good, mediocre and bad services. I still have to try the best ones in Bangkok tough. This single try makes me think a very good experience in a Japan soapland is on a different level.

Any idea to convince UNESCO to put that on the World Heritage list?

Perfect. Yoshiwara has great historical value that dates back since forever.

The buildings are made of concrete so they wont collapse that fast i suppose. I really hope to not see them all gone in my lifetime.
Licensed brothels are so important for fair treatment of both workers and clients.

Please keep in mind that the last time I set foot in Bangkok was 18 years ago.

In general, IMHO, I believe that you will receive better service in Tokyo than Bangkok - unless you are a Thai male. In Tokyo, one of the major factors to consider is: お客様は神様です.

In Bangkok and Phuket, for non-Thais, the available quantities are significant and opportunities are inexpensive and ubiquitous, but quality can be inconsistent.

For Thai Massage Parlors (Soapland clones) I enjoyed Darling. FYI:

My friends raved (and I read numerous glowing reviews) about Chao Phraya I and Chao Phraya II. Club Eden was famous for its wild 3Ps featuring serious girl-on-girl action, anal sex, anal toys for the girls and other options. Club Eden girls were known more for their unbridled hedonism than their looks. Apparently, Club Eden was shut down by police earlier this year.

Fish Bowls can be found in Bangkok and other Asian cities, but not Tokyo. I wonder if that is to preserve the morale of the girls in Tokyo (when they are not picked) and/or avoid customers feeling pressured to select girls for repeat sessions.

The Tokyo Fashion Health chain Crystal used to feature a マジックミラー (a two-way mirror) for a modified Fish Bowl - customers could see the girls, but the girls couldn't see the customers. The girls at Crystal seemed relaxed as they sat in their staff room reading, chatting or eating snacks.

My advice: enjoy the Soaplands of Tokyo and develop some regulars. As sweet Alice said, they are a unique cultural treasure. Also, I enjoyed having regulars in Yoshiwara. I remember Misaki at Starship began one session by affectionately stroking my face with her hands and staring lovingly into my eyes for about five minutes. Misaki definitely provided the Girl Friend Experience!

Well, I agree on that - if you are a Japanese male. In Bangkok you will not get rejected from a place for being a white boy, nor they do charge you extra for the privilege of entering their fine establishments (at least not publicly).

I didn't know Eden was closed. Now I feel even worse for not visiting them when I was in Bangkok late last year. They truly were one of the legendary places.

Deai cafe is a decent alternative. Can check out the girls beforehand but the girls don’t have to try hard to be sexy and flirt with you and can just go about their business relaxing while waiting to get called. Not humiliating for girls and a good way to in person select for the guys.

But soapland has a much higher chance on good service since the girls are more professional and have pressure to hold high the name of their shop.

I wanted to go here, its next to barubola, unfortunately there is a big sign on the door saying Japanese only (or something to that affect)

Yeah, the whole chain was sold ages ago, and has been a no-go for us ever since.

Thx DireWolf for the tips about Bangkok soaplands, I intend to go for a trip in Bangkok soon, I ll try those :)

Regarding Eden, It s really not the same as a soapland experience, you have to be more active. Never tried Eden but you have the same concept in Pattaya: Devils Den (http://devilsdenthailand.com). I cant go in Pattaya without using their services at east once :) I also did an overnight with two of those lovely imps a few years ago, what a night... Concept is about the same, ladies are not the best looking you can find there (some are still cute) but they are naughty. If you want something special, just ask the manager, dont be shy he heard it all ;) if it is not possible he will just tell you.

A for your advice for soaplands in Tokyo, it totally make sense but I wont be around long enough to do that unfortunately :(

As a Caucasian male, I felt that I received better service in Tokyo than in Bangkok - with some notable exceptions. In BKK it was more quantity than quality.

Now, in Bangkok, there used to be a number of Japanese-only shops on Patpong 1. So, should I assume that as a Japanese male, you receive great service in Bangkok (almost on a level that you receive in Japan)?

My friends who live/lived in Thailand said that the Thai guys had access to the Thai-only shops (many of which are Under The Radar), the best girls -- and in some cases under-aged girls (which is abhorrent and I/we had zero interest). Rejects from Thai-only shops would get rotated to the venues serving foreigners.

Now, the Thais won't charge foreigners more, but they will look for various to scam the foreigners. Taxi drivers take you to the wrong shop or they demand a cut from the shop, etc.

Back to the main topic of this thread: Kings Club seems like a reasonable value and Ena sounds like a gem.
