Escorts’ Blogs

I blog a lot in general and I was thinking about starting a little Tumblr page for blogging, I mean I'm not really an escort but I do find it interesting to read about what people are thinking or feeling or their general attitudes towards their life. Like I read this blog a long time ago about a woman who worked in a BDSM dungeon and it was hilarious to hear about the drama and lifestyle of what happened there, and another blog that's no longer active of a dancer just funny things she'd hear or dumb stuff people would say to her or the times where she would put her foot down to guys being silly.

I like reading a lot so in general any time someone says "Would you like access to really interesting stories" I'm always thinking "yes!"

In my case posting on TAG attracts a lot of clients. My blog get way less visitors so a public forum is a better platform to invest my time.

I don’t use social media or a blog on top of that. On my blog, I post my reviews and I’m planning to post my STD check up results. I used to post on the STD thread but I guess blog is a better idea

However everyone is a bit different in real life so I take social media, forum posts or blogs as a grain of salt.

A blog with STD results ... now that’s something I would love to read! But be careful, if you stop posting, people may get the wrong idea (or the right idea but anyway doubt is not good)

User#8628 took the words outta my mouth, the TAG indies that post here is almost like reading their blogs. The only thing missing is the occasional pic/vidclip . Id love to see pics of Alice showing off her new lingerie once in awhile. :)
I would read blogs for both escorts I met and ones I didnt meet that I may be interested in meeting.

I would guess it depends on your goal. I don’t think it would work well as ‘advertising’ per se, but in terms of follow up, I think it would work well.

Wouldn’t be interested. Sounds pretty boring to read about someone else’s life unless their was some crazy stuff going on, or they were doing something I was interested in doing myself (travel blogs for tips etc)

Day 1- Had 10 dicks today, #4 was smelly
Day 2- chicken vindaloo for lunch, hope no-one wants anal later
Day 3-
Day 70- oops forgot to update the blog

For indies I'm not sure how useful a blog would be - as other posters have noted TAG almost functions as a blog of sorts and Twitter, etc can also take the place of a blog with less time invested.

For girls working at shops, though, it has a huge impact - at least for me.
While it varies from shop to shop, at a shop where most of the girls are posting regularly on CityHeaven, etc a girl with very few or no posts is a red flag.
It seems like the girls who don't care enough to update their blogs also don't put as much care into their sessions.
I have 100% decided not to book a session with a girl because she doesn't have a blog while most of the other girls at the shop do.

Posts about hobbies/interests also help you get a feel for what she might be like. In my experience if a girl and I have a few common interests it can make for a much more enjoyable experience.

The photos are also lifesavers - while you can do a lot with SNOW/BeautyPlus/etc I still trust the photos on a girls' blog 10x more than the photos on her profile. With almost all shops I find the profile photos are next to useless - either they're so heavily Photoshopped they might as well be CG or they're so blurred you can't really get any idea what the girl is actually like. If you have a little experience and a bit of critical thinking you can get a much better idea about a girl from her blog photos.

Doing it, sure, reading about someone else doing it, maybe, but I think you are kidding yourselves if you think any of you are going to be the next Belle de Jour. They'd either be typical “look at these lovely chocolates / perfume that my last client brought me” or full of rants about “look at all my money” which I saw from one of the “less stable” women previously.

Many people have started a blog, I would guess maybe 99% of people give it up extremely quickly when they realize they don’t have the commitment or as interesting life as they thought they had. (Guilty on both counts)

I like looking at the blogs for the various establishments. The women seem to have slightly more current / realistic photos posted.

Clients: How likely are you to read an escort’s blog (assuming you are already interested in her)?

Very likely. In fact I recently read one that just got started - Very informative post on touring Tokyo as an escort. :)

Starting a blog is easy. The problem is trying to keep it updated on a regular basis. :)
Reading that blog reminded me that I really need to get off my own arse and get back to updating our photography blog. Have a backlog of BTS posts to write.:banghead:

I'm sure potential stalkers would love reading blogs written by sex workers. I can't imagine anyone else having much interest though.

Here are the stats for my first and latest blog post. It’s only been 5 days since I posted it.

I’ve gotten many “thank you” messages and positive feedback from providers, regular clients, and Twitter followers.

So far, no stalkers.. but if I do get one, which seems very unlikely, that is my own issue to deal with.

Hi Hana,
I am glad you are happy with the feedback you are getting for your blog. It might be a generational issue. I would suggest that the people accessing your blog are the younger demographic.

Most people I know don’t write blogs or do stufff like Facebook, They aren’t interested in checking out the breakfast menu etc...of other people.

And remember escorts are ‘service providers’ . They are not close friends or relatives of clients - so it is interesting that some clients take a close interest in the daily lives of escorts.

Kindest Regards,

MossBoss

I’ve read your post Hana and it’s so nice of you to reach out to touring escorts. It’s very well written and your instructions & suggestions are pretty easy to understand. It’s quite obvious that you’ve empathized with a person who is totally oblivious to Japan. I think you are a fantastic blogger, keep up the great work!

If you don’t mind, I would love to share this blog post with my clients who are visiting Japan for the first time. (I will give credit to the owner of the article of course) Some parts of the article can be useful for clients as well.
