In moving up a year, going to start this thread to cover streaming topics for 2020.

I wound up with subs to Netflix, Hulu, DIsney+, Amazon* & HBO Now.
(*comes with Amazon Prime subscription)

To be frank, other than the Mandalorian on Disney+, there's not a whole lot happening that's really worth mentioning. DIsney is Disney, so the content is as expected and nothing really worth going over.

For Amazon, there's some stuff to watch to kill time or use as background noise. The only thing I really finished was the Jack Ryan series. Amazon supposedly will be making a prequel series for Lord of the Rings, but how many times can you beat that horse?

For Hulu, I use that mostly for some U.S. TV shows and some of the live streaming content from standard cable channels from time to time. HBO Now is good for some of the older stuff, but I'll probably let this one go since GoT is dead and gone.

This one popped up on recommendations on NetFlix: (Pandemic)

The timing of this one kind of ironic... Haven't watched it yet.

Narcos (Season 2) Coming up in February:

Bojack (Season 6)

South Park was added to Netflix recently, but Family Guy and other shows are still on Hulu. Archer is also still available on Netflix.

Not sure about Locke & Key:

Dracula

....jury is still out on this one. Mixed thoughts on this one

I haven't had much time to actually watch much... but I usually stream stuff for something to listen to during the day.

Anything new worth to watch?

Waiting to see if the Japanese Disney Deluxe is really getting all the same content as Disney+.
If the new Marvel shows show up then I’m adding that on to already having Netflix & Amazon prime in my place.

Good point... I wonder if the content will be the same (aside from titles).

How did you get the Subs? Check out "The Outsider" on HBO (I'm streaming that without the subs but having them would be fantastic.)

Oops, subscription......not subtitles......sorry

Thanks.
All of my subs are from the U.S. versions using my U.S. billing info.

You've got some pretty good TV then. Netflix gives me grief about English Subtitles being not available in Japan. I usually check in with them once or twice a month just to be a pain in their ass. Still the same answer though. Amazon, there are ZERO English subs. Glad I got it for free. Mt Chinese SB (omg....did I really admit to that) gave me a Chinese site that has "everything".

I really didn't want to pay for the Japanese, localized versions of the services... at least Amazon & Netflix. And at least Netflix is pretty good if I just use the local connection and use the "Japan" content... there's still a few things that I like that show up on Japan's side and not the U.S. side... vice versa sometimes as well.

Netflix and Amazon Prime are all I have at the moment. Tempted to add Disney+ for the Mandalorian and the upcoming Marvel shows

Also thinking of adding CBS for my Star Trek fix after watching the premiere of Picard

On AppleTv+, the only thing that even looks remotely interesting to me is the comedy Mythic Quest, but other than that, their offerings are too sparse right now.

Netflix and Prime are my mainstays. Disney+ I use for MCU, Star Wars related shows/movies, and some of their older content. Apple TV+ I have a free year due to my current iDevice purchase but it’s just not enough content at this time to keep me subscribed beyond that.

US fragmentation of streaming services is getting too much. I’m in Japan enough to not need CBS all access (only interested in Picard and Discovery) and I just stream their content from Netflix or Amazon while there.

Westworld is back too

I found a pretty decent series called The Boys on Amazon Prime. Didn't even know I had Amazon Prime. lol

Better Call Saul Season 5 is plodding along........they seem focused on putting the backstory jigsaw puzzle together, and forgetting to entertain us while they do it.

Waiting for Ozark to kick-off Season 3 ( March 27).

Just been watching the Innocence Project on Netflix. Holy shit man, it has completely destroyed me. Watch it if you want to sit and sob for 8 hours.

American God is pretty good. Nice seeing Al Swearengen back.
