Oooh forgot about shangri-la, will have to give that one a tryActually, the ones linked to HK’s famous names : Mandarin-Oriental, Peninsula and Shangri-La.
Better than the US-linked (Hyatt etc) and much much better than the traditional Japanese ones (Imperial, Okura, New Otani - although Palace now is good but never saw their rooms)
I don’t see why you could not bring or invite ladies there. Actually it looks exactly like BEFORE the renovation , just with new materials. And their floors numbering is as confusing as beforeIs The Okura lady friendly since renovation? I was planning to stay there late April, but that won't be happening now.
Yes, we've had reports that it's friendly for visitors. Is The Okura lady friendly since renovation?
A former colleague working at Microsoft mentioned that one of their visiting execs staying at the Strings tried to have a girl up, and they both blocked the girl and lodged a complaint with Microsoft.Shinagawa Strings - exactly the opposite, don't stay there.

Yes but you certainly work for a much more reputable firm than Microsoft, and the gigolo you called was very discreetWeird, I’ve been there before without issues...
You've been lucky then, there have been constant problems with people going there over the years.Weird, I’ve been there before without issues...
I personally like the Ritz in midtown a lot.
But if money is no object, the Aman is far and away the nicest. I don’t even think it’s close.
If I had to choose between hilton's odaiba terrace suite for $550-750 and one of aman's $2-3k USD suites I can't see Aman being worth *that* much moreI personally like the Ritz in midtown a lot.

Well if you don’t need to be close to the center then yes, go for the Hilton Daiba . Great views too.If I had to choose between hilton's odaiba terrace suite for $550-750 and one of aman's $2-3k USD suites I can't see Aman being worth *that* much more
Anecdotally, everything always seems to be wide open at The Imperial Hotel, with Sugar Babies, mistresses, Secret Girlfriends and escorts discreetly coming and going. Saturday 9:00 am-ish is Prime Eye Candy time ...
Great suggestion! I'm always a big fan of upscale Tokyu hotelsCapitol Hotel Tokyu.........love the location, the views and class
The Capitol is really nice since it has been renovatedGreat suggestion! I'm always a big fan of upscale Tokyu hotels
...and the lady butlers on the Imperial floors bowing and remotely opening the (automatic) doors accessing the lifts to let go japanese couples (him around 80s, her around 18 in a pretty silk kimono )true. i like the old-school style of their bar too
That’s surprising. Elevators do require key cards to operate, but I would always sneak in with other guests as if I had booked a room there A valid explanation could be that @Anna Summer and I never encountered problems simply because we are foreigners and receptionists assumed we are guests staying at the hotel. You've been lucky then, there have been constant problems with people going there over the years.
Yes! Victoria’s Secret models stay there too. I mean back in the good old days, before the pandemic. But if money is no object, the Aman is far and away the nicest. I don’t even think it’s close.
