As an American, it's hard to watch the news day in and day out to see what has happened to our country. For those of you who don't live in America, I'm wondering, who would you vote for?

I have a feeling there would be a lot of opposition to Trump, but I'm just curious.

Fire away.

Joe Biden

Tough choice, on one hand Trump would provide us loads of free entertainment of the highest comical quality, even more unhinged since he could not be re-elected again

on the other hand maybe a Biden presidency could avoid WW3 with China. (... Or Canada, not sure... sometimes Im confused about who is you guys’ biggest enemy now )

really hard to decide :D

Cthulhu. After all, why should we settle for a lesser evil?

Easy choice for me. I wouldn't elect the Donald. Since this is America, I'm pretty sure someone is already going to sue him for some death due to Corona. I wouldn't want that plot to be spoiled by presidential immunity.
Unlike Frenchy I also think a second term would be pretty boring, as all he is doing is trying to get re-elected. If that goal is missing, he will just sit in one of his golf clubs all the time doing nothing.

But we should wait some more anyways. With the current dynamic of Corona, we have to wait who will actually still be available come November.

Trump

1. I enjoy the Trump comedy show
2. Self interest $$$$
3. He has had a silencing effect on US expats in Tokyo - no longer do they believe everything is bigger and better back home. So I don't have to get ear bashed by soccer mum and dad types as often.

To be honest if I'd had to choose between these two options I would turn to excessive drinking.

One can just wonder if these two are really the best what USA can offer to the world.

Since the selection process is both fair and transparent, you can be sure that those two are absolutely the best America has to offer:D

I'm pretty sure Trump has been the best POTUS for a very long time. The US is a giant shithole and for the first time in a very long time has not started a war with anyone else, and might make an effort to fix itself.

Nah, the next President will unite his nation against some arch villain in a country most of them have never heard of and couldn't find on a map.

Fair point. it was very close with Iran though, and still 4 months to go ...

Trump never drained the swamp. He re-stocked it..... and when the people he chose disagreed with him, they were fired. He's tried his best to undo everything Obama did, cause he hates him. The list of negatives about Trump is endless, so I will not rant . Biden has his issues, BUT! BIden will assemble a team that people can have confidence in. and they will have to fix the broken condition of America, on a myriad of levels.... Americans and the world deserve better than Trump......... I'm grateful for all the US late comedy guys, cause they help to make sense out of the nonsense we witness each day, and with some humour....

Unfortunately, yes it is. Like George Carlin said - This is the best we can do folks . Itʻs what our system produces - Garbage in, Garbage out.

News this morning says that Iran has issued an arrest warrant for Trump and asked Interpol for assistance. 4 months is more than enough time.

Also finding the outrage that the Kremlin was paying bounty to the Taliban to kill US soldiers a bit of a pot/kettle situation.

Biden-Obama (Michelle) can win it easily though Michelle made it clear that she was not at all interested.
