Weather in Tokyo in february.

Greetings from Spain. I have a ticket for a concert at the Budokan next february (some hardworking rocker maids will play). I hope that all this covid situation would be sorted by that time. Most sure thing it is not.
But I'm curious about the wether during that time of the year. Will I need to bring some coat? It's too cold?

Depends what you consider cold and also where are you staying. Some years we might have a bit of snow in February and temperatures in single digits Celsius.

During winter in a typical Tokyo house it's slightly colder inside the house than outside. But hotels are usually warm and comfy.

I’m not sure if borders will be open by then but usually in February I’m freezing. Layering with a wool jacket, coat, beret and gloves it is.

The trains in Tokyo feel like badly warmed sauna in winter time. The good thing is wearing shorts and t-shirt while everyone else is brandishing ski jackets, wool hats and scarves leaves a lot of space around you even when it's otherwise crowded.
