Love Hotel List/"reviews"

Maybe a bit generic but any recommendation for one with a large, nice bathtub (or Jacuzzi but not really needed). I guess a air mattress would be fun as well.

Arround Ikebukuro or Ueno area would be good.

Yes, I agree with @Wwanderer that it is strange that love hotels are thin on the ground in Roppongi. However, there is one LH in Six Trees that I know of, but it is hidden away on a side street. The place is called simply Hotel Roppongi (ホテル六本木).

As is typical with LHs, Hotel Roppongi has both rest and stay/overnight options. A recent rest there on a weekday afternoon set me back 7,000 yen. Yet, the rest wore me out, but I digress:smuggrin:

Like many LHs, you pay a machine in the room on the way out. There was also an automated minibar available in my room that I didn't bother with.

Hotel Roppongi is a bit dated, but I found the place to be adequate.

The address is 7-19-4, Roppongi, Minato-ku (港区 六本木 7-19-4). Hotel Roppongi is about three minutes walk from Exit No. 2 of Roppongi Station, Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line.

The phone number is 03-3403-1571.

hey. so I'm looking for a cool love hotel in kabukicho that's on the cheaper side.. maybe 4000-5000yen.. would it be possible to pay this for 2-3 hours? I rather not go to a shithole either, so looking for something nice.. Ive heard about XO but I really don't want to deal with a machine.. then I heard about pasha but seems lik it's 7600yen like for an hour.. is this true? are there any other recommendations in kabukicho where I don't have to deal with machines?

Bali an group has open reception just like the one you see at regular hotels. Fee is not 4,000-5,000yen but from 6,800yen though. Nice, clean hotel. I like it.

Pasha is more luxury but it is not 7,600yen for an hour. Their regular "rest" is 3 hours. You can stay longer when you go daytime on weekdays.
I don't know any love hotels that have hourly rate. Ikebukuro central hotel has one hour rate for 1,700yen but they are not a love hotel but Fuzoku hotel. All hotel-health shops in the area use this hotel.
You see quite interesting "couples" in the elevator!

Hotel XO is 4,980yen or more for three hours but they have an option for 100 minutes at 3,480yen.

If 100 minutes is enough than Tiffard or Cean are good options that have a front desk.
XO is really the best option and the machines are not super hard.

So are the machines in the room something like this?

.. ok so I suppose it goes something like this.. in XO I just choose the room through a panel in the lobby and I get a key, then from that moment on my time is running, so when I am done I just check out inside my room?

Yes, but it does vary a bit depending upon the LH.

Some places don't even give you a key. Sometimes the door unlocks automatically upon selecting the room.

Certainly, you want to have plenty of yen banknotes on hand. I wouldn't want to have to rely on credit cards or debit cards if you're locked in the room.

Although it is not strictly speaking a love hotel, another option in Roppongi would be the Arca Torre Hotel. It is worth considering because of the limited choice in that area.

The Arca Torre Hotel is a just regular hotel. Earlier this year I used it once for an overnight stay with an amateur before I knew about the Hotel Roppongi. A room for two people set me back 16,200 yen including tax.

Unlike a typical LH, at the Arca Torre, you need to check in with your passport or other suitable ID.

I forgot to mention but if you go more to the outside of kabuki cho, there are some more reasonable priced hotels. d-wave and an have 120 minutes courses around 5000, but they do have a tax systhem so the price is slightly higher than you may expect. You pay at the front but there is a selection systhem at first but the staff there is welcoming to foreigners and may assist you. There are some other reasonable hotels around there as well.

Also there were some positive comments on TAG about hotel La Faesta being easy to enter for foreigners and not too expensive but i don't know if it is nice or not.

I'm wondering if there are love hotels located near Shinagawa station? Google maps doesn't come up with anything, but I know there must be some. I ask because I have a friend in that area.

There are no real LH's -- just regular business hotels and tourist hotels.

There are rental rooms, but these are usually controlled/booked through a DH/Escort agency.

Edit: You can go just a couple of stops on Yamanote line to Gotanda, there are some there.

I second Gotanda, which isn't really that far away. Some of the best places around. How we define "the best" around here is a different subject.

Are there mirrors? Are there kinky or interesting features in the rooms such as an S&M horse saddle, massage chair, slot machines? It adds character to the room. There is one love hotel here in Shizuoka that allows you to play classic Super Nintendo games for free and after you request one, there is a side door with a slot that they slide it through, so you don't even have to leave your room. Same situation with ordering pizza or anything else.

There only a couple specialized hotels for 'kinky' features. A number of hotels have various features like the mirrors. The better selection of these are in Shinjuku.

Each hotel has different features -- For food, a number of hotel rooms have an inner and outer door, the staff can bring in requested items to the outer door and leave it there for you to pick up. (you don't see the staff and they don't see you)

to add ... not sure how many hotels will pay for the order and you pay them once you checkout. it is the better option.

I think I've shared my experience before about room orders ... both times I had to pay the guy (unluckily) at the door ... with just a towel below my waist. both in Shibuya.

LaPia #303 has a saltire cross (St. Andrew's cross, X cross) and a very low bed.

There is also one room in Shibuya that also has this cross. The hotel features blacklight designs in other rooms IIRC. I"m guessing Hotel Fifteen Love.

Pasha (near Listo) avoid room #309 has a very very small bath. Tub was a lavish version (has jet and lights) of my apartment ofuro ... if you want your partner sitting on your lap (or ...) while in the bath it's good but IMHO not comfortable.

Thank you for this thread. I will never take a lady to Hotel Listo ever again. It was the first hotel I ever used... maybe 1995... and, used it many other times.

Does anyone have a nice go-to love hotel for encounters with ladies from the Style Group that are within their "free" delivery zone? The only one I saw mentioned by name in this thread is PERRIER. it looks very nice, but is outside the zone. The easier to get into the better. My Japanese is conversational at best, so I'm a bit worried about getting into a love hotel easily. Probably easier than I expect, but yeah. The ones where doors lock and whatnot intimidate me a little in theory. I've never been to one.

Also, I see most LH's list their "rest" time as two hours. If your booked time with the girl is two hours, how does this work with the time it takes her to get to the hotel after you call Style Group to tell them the hotel and room number. Another thing I like about PERRIER is their rest time is a nice cushion of three hours. Just trying to make sure I get the best bang for my buck, metaphorically and otherwise.

There are some nice hotels there but they all generally lock the doors.
If you want a safe bet, maybe go for pasha resort (not pasha hotel), at the beginning of that street. It doesn't lock the doors and they are foreigner friendly. Rooms are a bit smaller than perrier but they are nice. Dont pick the cheapest rooms since they are really small, and the rooms on the first floor may block your cell phone data connection.

I've been suckered into this project.

You will find me walking around Shinjuku and Shibuya in the coming weeks, gathering some intel. (Obvious white guy with an iPad & and camera walking around alone in the love hotel districts!)

I will gather:

Names, General Pricing & Style of Hotel. After that, Eliah will have some type of directory or review system up to hold this stuff.

My personal favorite LH: Bali An. There is a thread by Mark floating around about it, I think.
