Hello,
First let me give some background information about me.
I'm 18, look Chinese. Conversationally fluent in Chinese. Fully fluent in English and French. Assume I can't speak Chinese. Money really isn't an issue but if you guys could provide some information, that would be great so I don't get surprised.
I heard that King's Club is pretty accepting to foreigners but I was wondering if there are other places that provide better quality (like I said, I don't mind paying extra).
I also read on a thread that someone had to provide ID to show that they are not of Mainland/Hong Kong nationality, so should I bring my Canadian passport?
Also, what should I wear and what should I bring? I don't really know what to expect (I know what they do inside but I just don't know how to approach the people in the front).
Thanks

If you sound like a Canadian I doubt you'll need to bring the passport. Protip: if you look like you don't belong there (nervous, sweaty, etc...) you'll probably just get ejected.

Edit: Would I also need to bring an ID to show that I'm over 18?
Do you look like you're under 18? No problem with bringing your ID, but I wouldn't worry about flashing it unless asked (and why would they ask for it?)

I'm dead 18 lmao. People say I look a bit younger though. Thx
I would bring it. If you are a tourist in any country, its required to have an id on you all the time anyway, i believe.
No idea if they may ask for it.

Please look at "the yoshiwara soapland resourse thread" here on TAG. It should help you make the best possible choice.

You will likely be using English instead of Chinese.

There are some soaplands where you can only get in if you speak at least conversational Japanese but some soaps are completely foreign friendly.

Probably the most popular one for foreigners with girls who are generally good looking and good at the soapy massage service would be "Darling harbour". Definitely a good one to start with.

Other ones who seem to target foreigners would be Sweet Kiss (has an English website) Kinpeibai (they may have a foreign male staff who speaks english), and Kings Club. Those are budget places with not the brightest reputation.

High end places where you pay top dollar for good service and pretty girls would be: Satin Doll (prettiest girls appearantly), Landmark (great service) and Don Juan (in Shinjuku for if you dont wanna go to Yoshiwara).

I suggest your read some reviews in in the soapland threads and choose what suits you.
