Deriheru Yukata Cosplay Possibilities

The time has finally come! I'm back in Japan and will be enjoying a week in Tokyo at the start of August.

I plan on again utilizing JK-Style's services, but first I have a question for you fine TAG members. Has anyone ever heard of a deriheru service which offers a yukata option, or perhaps (unlikely) a LH which offers them? If not, how bad of an idea would it be to ask the JK-Style staff about it as a special service?

It's a hot Japanese summer and festival season... A cute, young Japanese girl in a yukata sounds like the perfect way to spend a day!

A bunch of them offer "sexy yukatas" which I find less appealing, they basically only go down to right below the hips...
 
If you are looking for a real Yukata outfit, it is probably not a good idea for deliheru experience.
When the girl is not good at putting it on quickly, it takes time. When you ask her to show up in Yukata, it may leave a couple of nasty marks on her breasts and waist. That is not sexy.
I had a request to wear Kimono for an appointment in past. Since I have to wear Sarashi; long cloth to wrap your chest to make your breast look flatter, plus six strings and Obi, my body would look like right after BDSM rope session. I told him that I could bring the set for a date and put them on after shower and he could undress me.
It took me 5-10 minutes to put them on. When I was done, I told him he could undress me but it was too complicated for him. He had no idea where to start. Lol.

The time and skill required to don a yukata was one of the worries I had. Not as difficult as a kimono, but obviously still time consuming. Especially if you don't know how to tie the obi and don't have a tsuke-obi. The body marks would not be a turn off for me, as they're realistic. ;) If you're about to get down with your JGF after an evening at the festival, she's bound to have marks. (Get it? BOUND!?)

In any case, JK-Style has a 1,000円 bring-your-own-costume service. Sounds like a difficult and expensive excursion, however. Have to buy the yukata, talk to staff about it, hope one of the girl's is willing to wear it, hope the girl's the right size for the damn yukata, hope she doesn't take 100/120 minutes to put it on... Sounds like a great idea, I should try it.

Well, yukata are usually one size fits all since you pull it up under the obi.

I knew that the length was adjusted by tucking under the obi, but I assume there must be at least general sizes that govern chest/waist/hip size. Not like it has to fit perfectly anyway. It wouldn't be worn long.

With JK-Style, I imagine I could buy a relatively small one and be safe. Could even find the average of the girls' sizes from the website and take an educated guess... I think I'll visit the local Hard-Off second hand store this week.

Some girls are so good to wear, these days. You see many young girls wear cute yukata and generally, young generations today, are maybe used to wearing yukata. But, as you said, short ones, can be better, realisticly, easy and cheap, compared to propper long ones can be time consuming to wear it.

I used to perform in Yukata, when at my start up back in Jan, Feb for sometimes. The more I wore loose style, the more I got used to wearing it and performed it, by casual finishing. As, I love showing a bit of cultural experience in my performance.

But frankly. I can't wear it,.propperly... I need an assistance, for wearing ii, that can go out with it. Greatest part was, I got to ask taking photographs by many tourists, when I hang out in Roppongi Hills,.yrs ago. I'm thinking, I should do that again. :)

That's the truth! Even here at my university I have seen so many beautiful, young ladies in their yukata for various campus functions. That's where I got the idea!

Thank you! I've actually been in Japan since April. Just happen to be in Tokyo next week.

I will certainly speak with JK-Style about it if I manage to find a somewhat affordable yukata before then. I'll be sure to keep TAG up to date!
