Most of the good places in Roppongi have closed:

Heartland
A971
Gas Panic / Red Area
Féria
Flower
A Life

The only places that are left are:

Muse
Motown

Anywhere else to go out?

Another one bites the dust-a long time ago...it seems

It was one of my go-to stores whenever I traveled to Roppongi

Oh, well, at least I still have The Licca-chan Shop, just 18 minutes by train further, in the basement of Hakuhinkan Toy Park

Next thing you're going to tell me that Lexington Queen is gone too.

At least there's still Mugen in Akasaka.

Roppongi is increasingly becoming a business center more than before, also they are trying to crack down on night life and bars i.e. only until 12 mn or less I heard storiesng of police going inside bars to close it

The main reason why police will close down a bar (here in Tokyo) is due to drug sales going on between customers on the premises. They will let it run for a while as they collect data and photos then when they think they know who most of the people are they make arrests and shut the place down.

A new addition to the scene that may be interesting ... affiliated to the US clubs in NY/Vegas with same name, so maybe a step up in quality?

One would hope. The one in Vegas is 'alright' in my opinion but even then I'd prefer it to a lot of the Japanese clubs I've been to.

1OAK looks good. I am planning on going in the next couple weeks. Been hitting Alife a lot lately.
