Like i said, you can talk to girls but they wont be saying the same thing as in kyaba. Its a job like therapist.

I can't Imagine feeling relaxed in a kyaba....

There is an Akiba place(it is actually aimed towards the Otaku/ nerd types , all the girls are surprised I don't want to talk about anime) I go to where you sit down on cushions, girls sits across from you and talks to you. This is the place where I feel relaxed when I just want to let it out.

If there were more places like that I would go to them, girls bar and Kyaba are too much about the drinking and don't feel at home where you can relax.

Taikusouko, I did a review of it a while ago. It's on the main street. Word is though they started turning foreigners away, but until now I hadn't heard of anyone else going to confirm.

I guess there are a bunch of different types of sekukyaba. I went to one in Ueno (my only time i ever went), where there were spaces on the ground where you could lie down with your girl. Someone stranding and walking around could see everything going on but between the "beds"/mats were planks so you were not directly lying next to your friends.
The girls were wearing kimono and they would open it and you could touch their breasts and make out. Only upper body same as other oppai pups. The girls seemed not into les play so i didn't push it and just talked to them.
I forgot how the place is called, we just found them through street touts. We went with a mix of both Japanese and foreigners and i was the only girl. Dont know if they allow foreigners on their own. They were flexible in our case but it was maybe a slow day and we did have Japanese people with us.

The focus there was also not on alcohol at all. You got free drinks with the course i guess, but i just had a tea.

I think that place was reviewed on TNS too, so foreigners are welcome to some extent.

Not taikusouko (although taikusouko is pretty similar concept in terms of being able to relax, just at a super steep price)
if you speak Japanese I'll give you enough hints to find it

price is 1880 for 30 minutes, there is no sexual services whatsoever and all the girls wear pajamas, you can play games with them, like you are entering their dorm.
closer to a maid cafe then it is to a kyaba.

Oh that place, no thanks I'd rather get a decent massage as well at one of the reflexology places.

Some people pay for psychiatrist to talk, some people pay for others to make them food, some people pay for sex. What's sad about that?
I agree. I see nothing sad about paying for sex or for help from a trained mental health pro. But I do see something very sad in paying someone to pretend to be interested in you.

It's not supposed to be rent-a-friend, that's not how it works at all
You really think every psychiatrist is interested in everything a patient says and is completely honest? Then you are as deluded as the guy who thinks a club girl is interested in him.

They're both just doing a job.

Maybe you quoted the wrong person

I'm both not so much into shrinks and regular hostess clubs because they act way too distant.
Loneliness is best fixed by cuddling.
Not talking, not sex. Cuddle therapy.

That much I knew already.

I'm sure their clinical guidelines recommend showing 'empathy' when treating patients. Now from my experience, they do this in a way which reeks of fakeness (ie. they are pretending to be interested in you or your problems). Of course this 'empathy' isn't the sole treatment, just part of it.

I think it depends on what kind of shrink you get. They got several varieties. But the majority of them are a complete waste of time. In all liklihood your problem can be fixed with a few drinks and a blowjob.
