This is just a suggestion and I don’t know if you’ll be interested in it, but there are these two BBW dating apps that work okay-ish in Japan. “WooPlus” and “Curvy”. I tried them for a few hours and then deleted my accounts because I was just curious to see what the apps were like. They had some decent-looking guys, but their male user count seemed to be pretty small in Tokyo.

There’s also Tinder and OKCupid, which are way more popular.. but I personally disliked them. Too many young-looking boys, and not enough silver foxes. That may not be a dealbreaker for you, though. 90% of the profiles I saw on Tinder were Asian men, so you might be interested in that as well. OKCupid had more foreign users.

With dating apps, you can at least see their faces and photos first. You can also read their profile before messaging them. It could save you a lot of time.
