I'm watching American Gods. It's a strange show.
I tried watching that, I might try t go back to it but I feel like I need to re-read the book first.

Good luck with that. It is a very hyped book but one of the few I have not made it all the way thru. Just couldn’t bother after 2/3s or so in.

Started Altered Carbon based on comment here. First episode was good. Definitely a little off center but in a good way. We’ll see.

This show had a hard time holding my attention. It really liked the first half but by the end it felt like I was forcing myself to watch it. I never got around to watching the last episode. It did a far better job than The Expanse. This show was needlessly over scripted. Way too much to follow to be interesting... I know most fans of the books enjoyed it but I don't think it made for good TV viewing.

I read it and I remember liking parts of it but overall not being impressed enough with it to be too deeply invested. To be honest most Gaiman books are kinda like that for me, a lot of interesting segments all held together with tape and hope which make for a little bit of an unsatisfying read.

Prachett is what really made Omens hold together.

Rewatching the outstanding first season of neo-Western crime drama Justified, which had 78 episodes broadcast on the FX Network.
Justified — based on the late great Elmore Leonard’s short story “Fire in the Hole” — was an excellent follow-up for Timothy Olyphant, who played Wild West lawman Seth Bullock in the amazing Deadwood, a series which ran for three seasons on HBO.
Actor Walton Goggins became a star in Justified, no doubt helped by his great performance and delivery of Tarantinoesque dialogue as career criminal Boyd Crowder — the adversary of Olyphant’s Deputy U.S. Marshall Raylan Givens. Goggins was later cast in key roles in Tarantino’s Django Unchained and The Hateful Eight.

The show follows eight strangers from different parts of the world who suddenly become "sensates"; human beings who are mentally and emotionally linked.

Unfortunately, Netflix canceled the show only after two seasons which I am quite sad about. It’s a great show imo.

Currently watching westworld 2 like everyone else lol. I strongly recommend true detective season 1 if you haven't watched, especially episode 2. Haha. Also watching a chinese drama titled "legend of fuyao". Just finished "Iryu" all 4 season in one go. Its a japanese live medical drama based on the manga, very intense and exciting.

American Gods is terrible unless you love weird shows with strange storylines. There are many better shows out there :)

I heard they're coming together for one last Movie (Kind of like they did with Firefly) to wrap everything up. But yeah I guess it was just a very expensive show to make (due to being filmed in so many different locations) but I'm surprised they didn't have the numbers to keep it going I mean everyone raves about how good the show was and I loved it.

The finally was released on June 2018.

Just finished the 3rd season of The Expanse and now I'm with the 3rd of Versailles.
Amazing shows both of them :)

How do you watch this in Japan?

Started rewatching again THE WIRE (2002-2008), which is on the pantheon of the best TV series I have ever seen.
Glad to be reacquainted once more with so many fascinating characters, including Omar Little, Jimmy McNulty, Stringer Bell, Bunk Moreland, Rhonda Pearlman, Kima Greggs, Cedric Daniels, Snoop and the totally corrupt politician, Clay Davis (sheeeeeeeee-it!).

The wire was great. I also loved breaking bad as well. Game of thrones, Spartacus with the violence, nudity and sex are also to my liking. Altered Carbon was a recent favorite. The awesome future visuals is what I enjoyed a lot about it. Like that blade runner feel.

Finally had some time to watch more of the Netflix Marvel series. Still haven’t finished first season of Daredevil yet - the first 3 episodes of Jessica Jones kinda sparked my interest so gonna finish binge watching the rest of this before getting back to DD and the rest.

Had no idea JJ was such a badass. :)

I've started watching Sopranos because people say it's better than The Wire.

I'm at Season 2 Episode 7. So far it's alright..
