Daytime free time

At least some of the happening bars (e.g., Bliss Out) are open in the afternoon last time I checked. They tend to be pretty quiet (few people) in my limited experience, but the people who are there tend to be more intent on finding some action and getting on with it than many in the bigger evening crowds.

In the times I've been to HBs, I don't think I've ever seen a trans person there - any idea how she would be received?

That's an interesting question.

I thought you said you were no longer interested in Decepticons

The person who started the thread is trans.

And while that may not be my choice of partner, I'm still respectful towards transpeople. They have life hard enough as it is without people being condescending assholes.

I wish I could give a meaningfully reliable answer to that question, but I can only speculate. People who go to HBs are clearly more open minded and hopefully nonjudgmental than average (for the general population), and I'd *think* and hope that most would be accepting/welcoming, but I also suspect that some would not. HBs are not havens from all assholes; nowhere is afaik.

Sorry for the comment. I posted before thinking what I was typing.
I'll be more mindful in future.

For the record, I do enjoy transgenders. I've had the privilege to work with some in previous jobs. I have a few as good friends and have enjoyed private times too.

Wait, she said she’s bi-sexual, not transexual. Or maybe I missed sthg

Rather than drifting too far down the road of yet another general discussion of sexual identities and such, it would be way cool if we could collectively come up with some good answers to the question posed in @TSCandi's OP. I'd love to know some good daytime places too, for that matter.

@TSCandi - Markiss isn't open daytime, but they have a good vibe, though slightly geared towards the S&M side. They're a kink bar, so don't expect play on premises, but you'll definitely find some like minded people there.

Whenever I have daytime free I tend to just head to kabukicho or between there and sanchome, drink wine and head to a newhalf establishment. But most places for drinking don't seem to open till 5 so I would also be keen toKfind out about exciting fun places...

What HB??

Thanks for the few suggestions so far..

For those curious I AM bi
And TS BUT here in japan I also am consider NH that’s why I used it. :)

I know there’s a pink theater in Ueno. I don’t have high expectations but I’ve always been curious so I may check it out just to cross it of my bucket list.

Kaikan is also a spot I do enjoy so I may need a trip to one soon ;)

HB is a Happening Bar. Closest western equitivalent I could come up with is a swing club, but HBs are also available to singles.
