Weirdly enough I've never received a text from Hipness, and I've been using them for years. Even weirder, they don't actually have a girl called 'Mango' on their roster - unless she's coming soon.

I also never knew they could write in such fluent English, or even in English at all.
 
Yup, got this too last week, much to my alarm. Not cool, despite my standard communication precautions. The only contact I ever had was via that particular phone. I blocked the source number straight away, but somewhat concerned they might be using a service which can send out under different numbers.

I can't be sure now, but I think the girl now listed as "Kinoko" was "Mango" when I checked last week.

Well i was jus browsing the website for attendance plan to see who is available on that day, but i am a regular with them so i think they are storing our contact numbers.
 
Seems like someone gave them the great idea to start messaging customers via their phone numbers. I’m curious of the complaints they must be getting on Japanese sites.

I actually haven't seen any mention of it on bakusai or hostlove.

Has hipness been sending out SMS messages recently?
I am thinking about using their service but prefer not to be contacted afterwards.
 
It happened again today !!

Who is goof ball In this place sending sms ! And this is a new portal i accessed last week. They r seriously recording our data

Good Catch.. I don't know iPhone, but thought it was a scree shot and the person's own mobile #.... Oooops...:eek:
