After a heads-up from another poster, did some testing, and confirmed that there appears to be a problem accessing TAG from Docomo's mobile network.

Page loads simply time out, or result in an SSL error.

I’ve had the same problem today. Also docomo network. It helped me to clear the cache of my phone.

I did that, problem recurred within a few refreshes.

On EE in the UK and have the same issues.

When I'm in Japan, my network defaults to Docomo if it's relevant.

Thanks for the additional reports.

We are currently investigating the reason for the connection issues.

We've already taken a few steps to help correct the issue, but there still are some lingering issues beyond our network (it seems).

@oLUXo as the first to report this to us earlier in the morning today.

We apologize for the issues some of you are facing while using certain networks.

(Note: We've relaxed some of the security controls for troubleshooting purposes. There's no actual risk to members, it's more of a defensive control on the border.)

I have had this issue with ATT unlimited plan in the US as well. When I was on the ATT fixed data plan, there were no issues.

We have applied a soft fix that should resolve the current critical issue for most people. It's literally a bandage on a network cable. (I'm kidding..)
The full fix needed will require a short outage period which need to be done during a non-prime time hour.

There's a small chance that some people are sharing network zones that have been blocked due to abuse. There are too many to actually sample and test, but we have relaxed some of those rules which allows more of those blocked zones, temporarily.

A follow-up maintenance period will be announced once we confirm the planned fix will give the desired outcome.

Note: The soft fix needs to propagate - it could take a few hours for the fix to be reflected globally.
