Shameless bragging here but it does feel good when those SA ladies see me for the first time and ask if I lied about my age on my profile, making it older.

I guess our overlord Chris here must feel same when people find out he’s not that aging nerdy greasy obese guy living in a basement. But actually rather hot, if I may say so here :rolleyes:

If only you bought a better product :D Apple doesn't sell in the USA like it does in Japan. Galaxy seems to be on top for phones. Less issues from my experience too (y)

I really get tired of seeing this same comment... both products have their positives and negatives. On both devices, I find that most of the 'errors' are operator errors and not always the device's fault.
Both devices get abused by low quality apps and junky stuff like games, which who knows what is contained inside. I carry a iPhone 7 and 8 everyday and neither have given me grief since I've been using them. I use them heavily but neither of them have any games. (I have friends that have a variety of samsung or other android devices in addition to apple... all have some sort of gripe at some point...)

Is one truly better than the other? In the bigger picture, no. Sure, some have defects when made, but shit happens and you just exchange it for another.

I've yet to find something better suited for my workstyle that would be an improvement over my iPhone 8.

Thats interesting. I guess its because people here mostly get hurt from infrastructure failures, fires, car accidents and the like. Whereas in the USA people mostly get hurt because of other people.

It's pretty common in many countries and I believe in some places in US too. Because there are not enough fires to keep the fire department happy, I mean busy, and those guys need to be able to provide first aid anyway so the cost benefits are there.

I know it’s sometimes too much to expect sex work to be nominally accepted as a legitimate way to make a living. But, is it too much to expect men to stay away from sexually harassing women? I have just experienced verbal sexual harassment from a random guy as I was passing by him in a hotel corridor. (I am not comparing this to rape, but I support the idea that verbal sexual harassment is a type of sexual harassment) The guy was accompanied by his child who didn’t look older than 10, so he’s not setting a very good example for his little boy either. What’s more baffling is, this was one of the very upscale hotels in Tokyo. Money can’t buy class I guess, and predators can exist in all steps of the social ladder..

Sorry that you experienced this. Why did he even assume you do sex work? Could have been any female client in the hotel.

I don’t how why he assumed I was a sex worker. Sex workers don’t deserve to be tossed around like a plaything without their consent. Sad part is, the first thing I did was victim blaming myself. I thought may be my skirt was too short, or maybe I should have thrown that long jacket on top although it’s getting pretty hot. What’s worst is this guy is raising a child and he’s exposing him to toxic ideas about the dynamics between two genders.

Sorry that happened to you. You know it already but I think it is worth saying out loud: jerks will be jerks regardless how long your skirt is, it was his brain that was too small.

Ok he’s just an asshole who saw an attractive lady walking alone in an hotel corridor and assumed she does sex work. Problem is, that time he was randomly right. But I insist on the “randomly”. This guy would have probably said the same thing if you were a normal client of the hotel. I hope for you it won’t happen again but if it does , pretend to call the front desk immediately from your cellphone and say loudly there is a sex offender on your floor and you need help.
