Are there any legitimate Japanese dating sites?

I've tried a few in the past and had ok luck, but some are just pure scam sites like happymail.co.jp and a few others like that.

Does anyone know of an actual REAL dating sites without call girls, escorts, or prostitutes? I tried Japan cupid, had decent luck. I met one ex gf on tapple, but the app is flaky and doesn't allow you to stop auto-payment unless you cancel your profile.

If you have any suggestions, let me know! Thanks all.
 
oops sorry you already mentionned it. I think many pple use it and It's a quite good one but xD
 
If I were you I'd stick with Japan Cupid (that's where I am luckier)
Then you could try Skout (found a 21 yo Korean on there recently)
Then you might also want to try Coffee Meets Bagel

I'd stay away from Pairs which makes the unsubscription difficult.
 
Omiyai (arranged marriages) agencies.
Ok its a dumb advice but who knows ... if there are ladies desperate to meet men in this country , they must register there :D

Did not even know there is a site called Omiai... and based on what you wrote, I suppose its better not to know about it anyway .
Generally speaking I think all J-ladies without prior foreign exposure (only lived here, speak only Japanese etc) are just too bizarre for me . And often obsessed about marriage, period.

Yes its an app/website for serious relationships leading to marriage.

My experience with JC and OKC and other western datingsites is that 99% of the ladies are just looking for a visa to escape Japan. That's why I prefer japanese apps. Both are obsessed with marriage/kids in my experience. I guess that's the price you have to pay when dating japanese women.

I found a beatiful married MILF on worldfriends.com I was about to pay for membership and now the website is down for months. I guess the owner abandoned the site. She was perfect. The kind you see in porn movies. Such a shame.

It looked legit. I also reverse searched her pics through google and no results found. Too bad I don't have the pics anymore. She was totally my type. Would bang her atleast twice a day.

Yes, Japan/World Friends shut down ... I once met a gorgeous J-MILF in the U.S. through that site - unfortunately, she wasn't as interested after the meet-and-greet.

Beyond her, I met some gems, and duds, through that site. RIP Japan/World Friends.

Yeah I read they stopped paying their affiliates a year ago. Kinda sad. Met my korean exgf there 6 years ago. Their business model was very bad so it doesn't surprise me. It used to be one of the best sites. Guess they can't compete with Tinder and the likes and just let it die. RIP

The owners were very devious with the auto-renewal for paid memberships.

They also changed their format for friend requests and friend networks as it related to sending messages. Various developments seemed to mark their decline.

I never bothered joining groups or sending friendrequests. I just send smiles everyday until they msged me their email adress or LINE ID. Usually they understood I can't write mails back.

Back in the day there was Open Club. People who paid for that and then u could write to everyone for free who got open club. I just searched all Open Club members and copy/paste same mail that's how I met my korean exgf. Good times.

I have a very long experience with JC and what you wrote is true only for a certain demographic on the site.

For instance, I did found girls who were not interested in kids, found some ONS and sexfriends as well.

My current one also found on JC can't event think about anything related to the future.

One of my past GF also found on JC couldn't have kids (she seemingly tried with someone else before and forgot about the idea before finally going to JC).

Ofcourse there are always exceptions but 99% of JC wants marriage/baby or they are looking for a visa.

I was bored and checked facebook of some girls I dated 6 years ago from JC and those I could still remember by name and all of them were married and living abroad lol.

Then again at least those feelings will last for around ten years which just happens to be the same time you get permanent residency. That's already quite a bit longer than your average marriage in western countries so who is to say it's not real love?

It's actually pretty funny. Met a girl 6 years ago on JC. She had a great job within a japanese company with good pay and she quit her job to work at Uniqlo. Back then I never understood why. She fed me some BS that she didn't like dinners with coworkers or something like that. I didn't think much of it and just let it slide.

Fast forward 2019. I checked her FaceBook and she's living in France, married and got a kid and on her profile page it says she worked at Uniqlo in France.

So all this time she was planning to live abroad. Working at uniqlo in Japan was just a stepping stone. Glad I dodged a bullet.
