In theory, we fully agree. Problem in this business - of course our fault for not being able to provide money upfront- is that you get many many replies, with just a few of them being serious. Even when a meeting is planned, many people don't show up at the last moment. Asking for a (blurred) picture, shows they are at least a little bit serious and makes it so we don't have to have dozens of planned meetings where nobody shows up.

a picture doesn't prove anything, it can be fake and then it's a waste of your time and it can be reel and then it's a risk for them.
meeting is the most reliable way. you'd have to meet them anyway at a certain point and if you're afraid many don't show up just give them all an appointment in a convenient location for you and meet many in the same day.

also you'll need to have back up options, in this business horny guys who just want to fuck for free can turn out to be unusable for a video making in which one needs to be ready as often as needed despite the necessary cuts. there are tens of thousands of porn actress in Japan but only around 70 porn actors and the reason is the kind of reliability I mentioned.

there is no way you'll make money if you don't do it a professional way. btw how are you going to film this, do you have a cameraman ?
 
@e-smile - I think much of what you say is fair but they are literally talking about effectively camming and producing amateur-level content. I think as long as they get some content and continuity that’s probably all they’re looking for.

They did get some interest from TJB - so at least some sort of progress? It’ll be an interesting story at least!

It rarely has anything to do with the legalities, and more to do with not knowing shit about porn production, or underestimating the market for Western-produced porn from Japan. Most of the bozos that post here and elsewhere basically want to fuck Japanese girls and think they can mint gold with their dick and don't know anything at all. There's been two companies that I've seen that have actually produced real porn in Japan.

One went nowhere after producing a few scenes where the guy didn't know how to fuck and the girl looked like she was in a ton of pain because apparently there was neither the time for proper foreplay or the budget for lube.

The other was Little Mango, which had very good production values, hired a number of actual Japanese porn stars (one of whom is an ATF of mine, Yui Komine) and filmed them getting fucked by a white guy, released 4 or 5 movies, and still couldn't make any money probably because porn on the internet is free. They did a Kickstarter campaign to do another movie and hire a more widely known porn star, and they couldn't even get 50% of the money they wanted pledged. That was the last I heard of Little Mango.

It is. Back in the day when they started to import Playboy magazines all the pictures where actually scratched with some sharp object in the strategic places. I really wanted to get that job myself. Then if someone asked what do you do for living you could say "I spend my days scratching pussy".

That’s probably a user error not a site problem. Messaging here works or it doesn’t except when members have restricted their own ability to receive messages. That all said, messaging hasn’t had any outages and has been working as designed.
