Just ended a too brief holiday with ex-GF in California. Well.... Yuriko... it is never too late to make you own story... :D Surely your current office has it's share of visitors... one of these days.... just approach them when no one is around and say.. "has anyone offered to take you to ________ (insert place here) while you are in Tokyo ? Just cancelled a trip with the offspring and her mother to Europe...
fed up with all the conditions and requests:

Separate rooms : ok (and of course)

Business class: ok (well I proposed it)

2 nights in Seoul on the way: ok (not my fav town but fine)

3 nights in London (same)

Not going to my parents’ town, if they want to meet they should come to Paris (ughh this is becoming a tad annoying)

Don’t want to meet the cousins , the grand-parents its already « too much »

How come I get mostly ungrateful bitches in my life?!
And yes I just wrote my teenage daughter is a bitch.

You have to ask yourself. ..What leverage does she have @Frenchy .. And my guess is your child ...So it depends on how much you want to see her. ..As for seeing your family ...That's should be non negotiable . Your relationship with Childs mother has nothing to do with child seeing extended family .. best to cancel the whole trip.

It’s actually the child that is more a pain than the mother now. I don’t really want to see them that much right now. And yes that trip would have been a highway to hell. When I called my dad to explain he just said that in this case it’s better to cancel, and I shouldn’t feel guilty.
