Hello!

I recently moved to Tokyo with a working visa.

I am looking for places that can hire me in Shinjuku area, and interested in escorting or brothel.

Any help and guidance will be very appreciated

Welcome Anne!
Not to be pedantic but you’d rather spell it Shinjuku.
Wait if you have a working visa it means you already have a job lined up isn’t it?

Anne,
You can only work in a DH or soapland as a foreigner under the following conditions:

- being the spouse, child or grandchild of a Japanese citizen
- being the spouse of foreign national with PR
- being a permanent resident

If you’re on a work visa you’re not legally allowed to work in fuzoku establishments

Thank you everyone!

What about being a hostess in a bar? Can I do it legally with my visa?

You are only allowed to work in the field of work your work visa covers, therefore if your work visa is educational (ie English teacher) you'd only be able to work teaching. Why work for fuzoku establishments? You could just go Independent and advertise here on TAG.

Good call. The indie route seems like the only viable option here since it's under the table. There's no way to be legally employed as a sex worker or even a hostess at a shop on a normal work Visa

so let me get that straight here, people making a big deal here when foreigners fuck up at some brothel and they arent allowed to enter anymore, but foreigners working illegal is no big deal for everyone and the only thing people say is “yeah its not legal blabla”, but implying just do it under the radar?

Those are entirely different things.

We won't encourage people to fly under the radar, but that's not going to stop someone. Definitely a grey zone but the question asked was directly related to actually getting hired by a normal DH which won't be possible under any of the current working visa schemes.

well you dont, that one im sure off...

was just surprised that noone stated the obvious: if salary doesnt cut it, get another job, legally... and pro tip: just dont do what you cant afford...

because that is what gets people in trouble and that can affect visa regulations and so on... over time became even one of those who say the regulations arent strict enough...

sure it is a grey zone, i mentioned it before, i knew a lot of people who did that, wh holders with no marketable skills, but too entitled to work lower jobs, “students”, too lazy to work at all and just wanted to get as much cash as possible...
wouldnt even be surprised if those people look down on other foreigners doing the same thing in their respective home countries...

its just illegal, period... get a visa that allows you to do so and be my guest...

the comparison i did was just that i hear people complaining about more or less trivial things here, though im sure that the person in question (trouble at the brothel) would be tarred and feathered in site, while far more severe acts are apparently not so bad...

and again, absolutely no issue with working women and men, so thats no big deal at all...

The OP didn’t state nationality or the type of visa exactly. I assumed since I used to see Australian hostesses they would work there with the working holiday visa.
I don’t think it’s wrong to state this I thought the hostesses were working legitimately.

Not so sure about all the innuendo in your post , but for escorts I don’t think they can seriously look down on other people doing the same thing anywhere else.

For SBs however I know by experience that some (not all of course) think they are above the other SWs.
There's even a sub-culture of those chicks who think its really cool, like being Paris Hilton or Nicki Minaj etc (would be surprised if those two ever needed a SD, but whatever...) , bragging about how much they got, where they vacation, eat, sleep, making fun of girls making less money in « boring jobs », or even joking about their SDs and their families...

What's your Visa? That would answer some questions. Putting an add here would solve/get you started.

Working holiday visa isn’t legal for hostessing.. they’re probably hired because bars always profit on tall blondes and they’re worth the risk.

I thought there was a specific working visa for the « entertainment industry » though (gotta love the euphemism...)

There has been a restriction to that since long time ago..

Maybe it's not the money, maybe she just likes to fuck, and wouldn't mind getting paid in the process...

Why are you on a whore board complaining about someone breaking the rules? Is it because it's easy to blame the downtrodden for wanting better in life, or is it because someone violating their visa provisions might affect YOU? Or maybe both?

it might affect anyone in the end regarding visa... other than that, as mentioned several times, no problem with prostitution at all...

i dont know op at all, so cant say that she is downtrodden... the foreign ones that i personally knew (all from western countries of course), are by no means downtrodden, they just live over their expensives and so on...
so its not like people from poor countries do that, because thats maybe the only thing they can do... completely different...

also im not talking about breaking the rules, but violating visa regulations, which is breaking the law... youre fine with that? or only fine with it until it affects you personally?

also nice to call them whores, bet they like it...

I'm not exactly fine with it because I personally choose to follow the rules visa-wise, but I think it's a little hypocritical to be perfectly fine with prostitution (breaking the law) while in the same breath telling people to not break the rules. The fact that some people want to 'live beyond their expenses', in other words, get ahead in life for themselves or their family, is the reason prostitution can exist in the first place. Women certainly don't do it for their health and generally don't do it for fun.
