It seems to be more a historical site. I randomly picked two if the hotels hod the text said, that they are closed now;)

Thanks but from what I heard the issue is due to administrative shenanigans. Good old love hotels with crazy decorations were considered as establishments under the jurisdiction of the Police ministry (or whatever its called) while plain love hotels are treated like normal hotels, with less scrutiny.

Some, like Hotel Chapel Christmas in Narita still survive. I went once and the interior decoration was all set in Christmas with the worst taste ... in August !!!:yuck:

This is always the problem when people ask about love hotels in Japan. They want weird and wacky but most of those ones that people heard about are no longer a thing as they are just nice looking (sometimes) short stay hotels with a big bed usually. The best you can get most of the time is an odd looking exterior for a crappy hotel room like that place in Chiba.
