Which games are you currently playing?

Man... I was in a game tonight, finally blowing off some steam after a long day of actual work for a change.
Some dude comes in to the match with a tag name of "All Lives Matter" and people just started flipping out. (Game has voice chat enabled, last man standing sort of thing)

And here I thought we could just put the BS aside and duke it out, virtually. (n)
That's part of gaming I guess. People want a space with no filter and gaming does that. In CSGO surf servers in NA, N words fly in n out and people get banned left and right.
In Rust, there are Nazi bases in almost every server and N-words would be one of the least offensive things you'll hear. Sometimes even JP servers pack a punch in terms of toxicity.

It's one of those "blink and you'll miss it" moments. When Arthur's collecting debts in Chapter 2, one of the guys coughs on him when they get in a scuffle.
Oh shit, I saw that but didn't think anything of it. I'm only about 30% or so through the game right now.

So I'm the one guy who sticks out. Spent like 2h to install RDR2 on my PS4, played it for like 1h, totally didn't feel my inner cowboy. Tried installing Death Stranding, but got warned that this crap had eaten up 120gb, so I uninstalled it in favour of death stranding. Happily playing death stranding ever since:D

It's not impossible I give it another shot, when I finished DS, but Jedi - Fallen Order might come first;)

Well, I'll be honest that I'm not enjoying the game as much as RDR1. I liked the original story better and the gameplay was a bit simpler. Okay it was waaay simpler. Plus, John "I'll put a bullet in your skull" Marston is just too good.

The game sucks at the beginning but it gets better once you're maybe about 10-15 hours into it and start hitting your stride.

Didn't play the first one, so can't compare.
But, you're right about the slow start and time investment. There is a lot you can do outside of the storyline, causing trouble or just doing game hunting. I like the free-roaming style and PVE play.
(I've done the online part as well, but just not much time in that part)

Well, the main reason I deleted it were the 120gb ... My PS4 has only 400, neither horizon nor assassin's creed will get uninstalled, which leaves little wiggle room;)
And those 120gb are good for 2 or 3 other games. So RDR2 kinda went to the end of the queue.

I put a 1TB SSD in my PS4, that seems to be enough for what I actively use on that console.

I used to play mainly on pc and the PS4 was only a home karaoke machine. Now that this year the PS5 is coming out with a new Horizon, I'm probably not investing in it anymore ;) but I might look into that option.

Haven't played any hardcore games for quite a while....so I decided to get Sekiro and Nioh2 this week. Nice mixture of enjoyment and masochistic torture. Not the right choice to relax after work

Since a lot of heavy hitters launched last month and in the upcoming days I thought it's time to revive this thread. Baldurs Gate 3, Starfield, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty....it's just too much. All insane time sinks and only little free time to waste. Any of you going to dive into the deep end?

I just got the new "Armored Core" these days and probably have to wait a few weeks before I get something new. I am a sucker for mecha and AC just ticks all the right boxes....fine-tuning mech builds and diving into the mayhem is just too much fun.

I am underwhelmed by BG3. The UI/UX is just awful, so far it just feels very generic go here/do that, and as far as I can tell the only selling point seems to be that there are LOADS of quests, and you might even miss some of them!
Also, in order to play it I had to copy most of my hard drive on to an external hard drive which I dropped the other day and now I can't access anything. Sigh. Currently still holding out the hope that I will be able to retrieve the data somehow but otherwise that is a lot of photos of my daughter that I just sacrificed so that I can fight a few boring goblins.

Some time ago I dropped an external hard drive. While it was spinning. Lost a lot of pictures and videos of daughters. None of them mine which was good as in those pics and videos most of them did horrible things. All of which I had paid, of course.

Starfield is about to be released in few days.

I havent touched my pc (was in the middle of playing fallout 4).

Still considering to get PS5 for HFW and FFXVI but I rarely find available time for gaming.

Spent last couple days in Starfield on Xbox Series X. Only ran into one bug so far, which is remarkable for a Bethesda game. ;)

Liking what I’m seeing so far and looking forward to seeing what the modding community comes up with.

I'm slowly working on Pokemon Legends Arceus on the Switch. By slowly, I mean maybe once a week whenever I go charge my EV.

Right now I'm playing The Last of Us Part I on PC since I've never played these games before.

I installed Mechwarrior but kept falling asleep during the tutorial so I never got into it (80 hour work weeks tend to have that effect on me).

I’m a little disappointed that Starfield has no Mechs, land vehicles, or powered armor suits in it (yet).

You guys and your pixellated foes... what's wrong with the old classic games?

Built my first SFF PC recently and it's a massive upgrade from my full tower. 7800x3D and a 4090 FE. Temps are as expected from a puny sandwich style case, but I'm loving the power and that it's easy for me to transport to Japan.

Cyberpunk with full path tracing feels like a religious experience, also really enjoying the eye candy from being able to put basically every setting to full blast in the games I play.

Got back into Skyrim to try some modlists and mmm, chef's kiss.

Also really hoping Cities Skylines II gets fixed up soon and bitterly annoyed that Front Mission 2 on Switch has such a horrid English translation. Will revisit when I can actually read the original Japanese version.
