How comfortable are you with having a provider come to your residence?

Did the calculations and realize that if taxi hotel fees etc, if I had providers come to my apartment instead of going to hotels, I cold save 30,000 - 40,000 yen a month.

Still have my hesitations, like to hear why other people do or do not have provider come to you.

Have concerns regarding
1. Privacy / Safety, not sure how safe it is letting providers and services know your home address. It is possible the provider swipes something when I`m not looking.

2. What will the neighbors think? Relativity thin walls

3. Really stupid reason: I`m a single male, I have a rather nice designer apartment, but didn`t want to buy a bed, I sleep on a fold-able sofa, I suppose buying some futons is enough for play time?

I wouldn't do it myself, but I don't live alone, so there's a much stronger reason.

Still:

1. There's the immediate risk of theft, and the secondary risk that the provider relays information about your place to friends who come by a few weeks later to clean the place out.

2. This is Japan, and your neighbours do notice what goes on in the area. Not a big deal if you're single and transient, but if you've been in a particular neighbourhood for a while and want to stay, you don't want to be that guy.

3. Regardless, get yourself a decent quality bed. Your back will thank you, and so will your overall quality of life when your quality of sleep improves. Futons are mold traps and a PITA to maintain.

I live alone and never had a problem with that .
Except that the bed gets messy and I have to clean the sheets afterwards (but yes, I agree with Sudsy, bed definitely better than futons)
Do not care at all about the neighbors , whom I never meet anyway.
People are usually more honest than what we fear , but better be cautious and not have cash or valuables visible in your place. Also a Van Gogh or a Monet, that’s tempting

It also depends on you & not the provider. If anyone starts to get too comfortable & may start thinking it’s more than paid entertainment you shouldn’t do it.
Just put up valuables just like you may do if someone you don’t know well comes over.

Personally, I wouldn't do it, because I prefer to seperate my private life from my mongering.
However, if you invite escorts to your place, ask yourself the question, whether the girls would be comfortable being at your place. In other words, your apartment should be nice and clean.
Buy a bed and don't be a cheapo. It is one of those items that you should spend some more money on, as it will improve your health and sleep quality. Futons suck.

You might wish to go for a "test drive" at a love hotel first. If you are both comfortable with each other, then bring her to your place for the next session.
Have to agree here: if you have regular providers and you build mutual trust, you could cosider bringing them home. 2-5 odd people at your door won't make your neighbors too suspicious either.
If you feel like trying something new, go back to the hotel!

Agree about 2 and 3. But personally I wouldn’t worry about 1 as long as we talk about Japanese girls from well known agencies. They can easily be traced. I wouldn’t bring freelancing traveling providers to my home.

Recurring business is eventually more valuable for the providers than one-time extra cash, a valuable, or scouting 'comission'.
