The Next US President is....

Though it was built by the Episcopalians, it was always seen as a non-denominational church. Pretty sure there's some label somewhere on it, "house of all people," or something along those lines. Basically, if you're famous in D.C., this is where you want to have your funeral.

Of course, the Ginzberg family could opt to do it elsewhere, or have a small private service or even none at all. If I had it my way, I'd have a funeral like Ronald Reagan's. That one was impressive.

you deserve it Keihan
And with your name spelled correctly on the tomb :D

Did you know that U.S. Presidents are allowed to custom plan their own funerals? Most of them spend a significant amount of time doing this while they're still in office. Just about anything and everything they want is allowed. Canons, parades, horses, fly-overs, marching bands, pretty much anything. I'd have a Reagan-esque service and procession, followed by an outdoor keg party at the Washington National Monument with beer bongs, a massive open bar, a fireworks show and strippers.

... unless the Keihan Chikens family decides you will be cremated in a zen temple in Toyama :)

Planning your own funeral sounds like loser talk to me. At least I am planning to live forever, or at very least come back to haunt all of you.

But if I was planning then, hell yeah, there would be strippers of every gender. But that would be just the start, I would make sure everyone attending would get at least a happy ending.

That would be a funeral people would talk for years to come. And there would be a cult believing I can come back and die again to have the Second Funeral.

More likely gets thrown in to a ditch in some small village in north Thailand. While still having a respectable boner.

I am sure Frenchie would have disabled, people of color new half strippers to keep with his current narrative.

and 3% probability to win the popular vote. That’s something.

He is been working hard to change those numbers ... but it is not working for him so far. The debates and presumably some really nasty TV commercials are where he is going to drive home hard. It is not over.

it won’t be over even if he loses, apparently

It won't be over on election night, no matter who is ahead. That's the challenge with COVID and many states switching to all-mail ballots. Multiple states have said they'll allow any ballot postmarked by election day, and that it may take SEVERAL WEEKS after the election to get them all counted properly. No fucking idea how that happens but that's why the SCOTUS nomination is going to be such a battleground. If polls are any indication this is going to be a very close election, and whatever side is tentatively named winner will face multiple recount lawsuits by the loser. Both sides have been advised not to accept any decision on election night and probably not for weeks after, and it could very well come down to a decision in our highest court.

Shit is going to get exciting and stay exciting for a while. I just hope in all the carnage our elected officials don't forget about the vaccine approval efforts.

Must be a good read . I’m convinced. Will try to get the discounted version after Nov 4. Bundled with Judge Jeanine’s « Don’t lie to me and stop stealing our freedom »

That reviews can be paid for. Like everything else in life.

For those who might not be familiar with the concept.

Love this! Thanks! I can only imagine the reactions of people in my little hometown in France if I ordered a funeral like that... would be worth organizing a fake funeral just to see that :)

200,000 people would have died because of Covid19.

Trying to gain political advantage by using people dying is never a good idea. Every country has made a multitude of mistakes. I am sure all politicians would have handled things differently in this ever evolving pandemic.
