Sony actually cut back on the # of units they had initially planned on producing, I don't understand why...

I read somewhere they couldn't get decent yields on their manufacturing process for the new chip.
 
Anyone else have PS5?

I’m semi obsessed with the new Spider-Man and I can’t believe how ghetto this console makes my Xbox look.

Don't know anyone that has one (yet) and I think I'm passing on this generation of consoles since my PS4 sits idle most of the time right now.
Curious to hear about more first-hand experiences - saw some comments around the web that basically say that the PS5 is a PS4 Pro that loads faster.
 
Well I’ve only ever had an Xbox before and this is so clearly better on the couple games I have. Really no comparison and the zero load times are fantastic.

Hopefully I can get my hands on one soon..then I'll post a very informal review here. I've been a Sony stan since I was in elementary school so I can definitely assess how the PS5 stacks up.

If you're torn between the PS5 and Xbox Series X, I'd recommend the PS5 because Sony typically has better exclusive games over Microsoft (God of War, Ghost of Tsushima and remastered shadow of the colossus to name a few). Also I just hate the naming conventions microsoft uses for the Xbox line up; makes no sense lol..so I am a bit biased against Xboxes in general.

I'm enjoying playing through Spiderman on the PS5 and then will be moving into Miles Morales. So far I'm enjoying it, but nothing mind blowing out yet. I bought the PS5 mainly for Spiderman and God of War. Thinking about going back to replay some other PS4 exclusives that are supposed to look and perform better on the PS5.
