Greetings!

There is not a whole that can be said for 2020 that has not already been said, repeatedly. With that in mind, I am not going to spend a whole lot of time reflecting on 2020 because to put it simply, it sucked. Of course, there's no magic switch that immediately makes 2021 a better year, but there is hope that by later this year, things will have improved compared to where we were at the end of 2020.

Many people are still facing difficult hardships as the pandemic rages on. I know of a few of our members who have faced drastic life altering events as a result of actions set in motion by the coronavirus. Obviously, our contacts in the fuzoku industry were hit pretty hard with many shops closing their doors for good or merging for survival. The carnage runs deep and it will be a long time before the dust settles to see who is left standing.

Those of us who can continue to work remotely, probably were some of the lucky ones. Anyone working in a service industry or a job that cannot be done remotely, surely faced some hardships as businesses closed down or reduced operating hours. That is another deep scar that either will never heal or take years to economically recover from.

We will not drone on and repeat what has been said over and over, but we do hope that everyone remains safe and makes smart decisions to keep everyone healthy. As stated previously, we want people to have fun and take a mental break from the stress induced by the virus, but please do it safely.

Thank you everyone for supporting TAG in 2020, we look forward to having you back again in 2021, especially our international member base who have been restricted from entering Japan. Japan will still be here, we just must wait until travel resumes!

Happy New Year!
