Ah, you got my hopes up for a second there. Hisyo was the only half-decent yoshiwara experience Ive had.
 
I'm planning on a trip to Japan sometime soon, been looking around the shop websites.....and I'm impressed how much web design has improved in the past few years. It's so pleasing to just browse!

i was send to this shop for a room b4 when jyotei room fully occupied.
btw, ex cote dazur was oso 4-25-10.

It’s probably going to be a long while before Japan allows non-citizens into their country. Definitely sometime after the Olympics, so you’ll have lots of time to plan
 
I asked the same question in the wrong thread; has anyone been to Hisyo or any of the group shops recently? The front page website warnings saying no foreigners seem to have gone and its a more standard ‘we disinfect stuff and do temperature checks’ message now.

Regarding Darling Harbour:

It seems that the morning discount isn't available to foreigners but how about the others?
Specifically, the 50 minute "new course" or the ”新人特典” for selecting a newcomer.
Does anyone have any experience with that?

Additionally, would it be too weird to request that the girl and I wear a (corona type!) mask throughout?
Would you mention that beforehand to the staff or directly to the girl?

As a foreigner, you are unlikely to get any of the discounts.

no, it wouldnt be *too* weird to ask about the mask thing

just ask the girl.

I agree the girls have most probably heard way weirder requests.

But then it would probably not be *too* effective either. If you are going to spend an hour in a close contact inside a small room then the aerosol transmission will be enough to get infected. Unless you go all-in with ventilated gas masks and that probably needs a fetish of some kind to feel exciting.

She's going to be sticking her tongue in places you didn't know you had. A mask is kind of meaningless at that point....

You’ve made me consider the rooms there now - I’ve never actually been to any soapland before so am pretty ignorant to the specifics - are the rooms at DH properly small? No form of ventilation (openable window/ extraction fan) at all?

might be worth waiting until I’m vaccinated for peace of mind!

I have been in contact with some girls from Hisyo. It seems that Foreigners are OK as long as they are Japanese resident. For what I understood, the momentary "no Gaijin policy" from Hisyo administration it is for the Covid-19 pandemic.
If you can prove that you live in Japan, and not as a tourist.... It seems it's ok. And if you are a regular or at least have been few times at Hisyo, there should be no problem at all!

Out of my Budget! Sorry, but I can't afford to pay that amount of money just for one "Play time". Usually 60K is my Fuzoku play budget for the whole month

Actually, there are tourists here. There's a small percentage of people stuck in Japan that cannot return to where they come from.
Immigration has been extending their tourist status for those who are technically stranded here. The number should be smaller now than it was six months ago. I'm sure there are a few who are stuck here legitimately and others who fear to travel, so they stay here. Immigration has been more liberal with tourist extensions since the pandemic began.

That said, I doubt these tourists have enough cash on hand to visit sopalands, lol.

Let's be honest - they've been able to return for a long time now. They just don't want to.

Are they aware of you being a gaijin? Curious if things are opening up a bit more. Did you go in and did they ask for verifications a resident?
