Question:

Is it common to ask for photos from providers for personal memories?
Would it be strange to ask? I've been wanting photos of SBs and escorts, but don't want to seem too hentai

I know some have an option for photos, so its easy to see who is ok with it and who isn't.

Those who offer this usually list it as an extra service on their website, if they don’t you can always privately ask them over email. As long as you’re not pushy about it after they say “no” I don’t think it will be a problem :) I personally don’t for privacy reasons but some girls are face out and they offer customized photos for their clients. There are also other souvenir options like panties!

Its gonna come across as weird unless they offer it as a paid service in their menu.

Asking for this during a session would likely make the provider uncomfortable.

Yes, is more common than you might think!
Many providers make you sign a document to not share or upload on any social media, the photos you take with them.

Usually it cost around 2,000 yen per photo. I do have some photos with girls I have seen before.

And don't worry! Usually the girls do not see you as a perv if you want to have a photo. Some even feel like a compliment!

Yes, that's true. I have never requested that option (take home panty). One girl have me her underwear for free and other gave me a pantyhose.

Yeah, this had been my thoughts also, so never asked. One massage provider asked me to choose a pose and take a photo.. I thought she was going to give me a copy, but no luck. It felt a bit too odd to ask at the time.

Thanks!!!! Great info.
I'll use some super polite Japanese to ask, and will be ready to sign and pay if asked. With my limited Japanese, I come across as confused with unfamiliar topics.

This store offers, the options listed above (but be aware that some girls offer some of the options and others not). So ask or check on the girl's profile if she offers the photo option.
写メ1回 (that's the photo option), in this case cost 2,000 yen. Also as Simonka mentioned, the "take home panty" (パンチィお持ち帰り) also cost 2,000 yen at this store.
