moral of the below story: Don't be stupid even if it's Japan and a place you regularly go to, watch your wallet

So went to an Oppai bar where it is individual booths set my wallet on the table, the table was away from where we were sitting(behind me) The Girl would have had full sight of the wallet, I had none. had more then 50,000 yen in in the wallet.

Girl had worked at the store for a good amount of time according to her. I like to stare at girls at oppai bars so had no eyes on my wallet. at the time I thought "how weird" everytime I extended the girl would go away for a few minutes.

I extended one last time, at that moment the 50,000 yen was in my wallet. I asked the girl right after she came back how long she could extend for, she told me till 10:30. Strangely then a few minutes later after I had intensively kissed her, she was like "oh what day is it today? Oh it's Saturday! Actually I have to go at 10:00 on Saturday." I thought she was just trying to run from me as a customer which I later would learn to not be the case, she just didn't want me looking in the wallet....

The staff came at the end of the time and normally they are like "do you want to extend more?", he just came in and said okay time to go!

I got up left the store, walked for about 3 minutes, checked my wallet and noticed all the 10,000 yen bills were gone. The Staffer must have planned out to work with the girl to distract me and then open up the wallet and take out the 10,000 yen bills (If the entire wallet was missing obviously I would have noticed that.....)

Went back to the store and asked if I could look for the money at the seat, they let me do so, of course nothing was there.

Went to the police and they basically just told me yeah, nothing we can do, watch your wallet.

I don't even know if the store owner was in it on it... it could have just been the male staff and the girl.

okaypot, sorry to hear your story, but 50000Yen is not too much.
Next time, only bring necessary items to places that you are not very comfortable with safety.

Next time keep your wallet in your pocket, bag, or something. What you described could have happened anywhere guys are drinking.
Really don't know how your wallet with 60,000 yen cash could have been far enough away for someone to go in it. That's a really bad habit but 50,000 yen it's the end of the world.

Way to use too saftey in Japan, Never thought the freaking staff shop would steal my money - The way the store is set up it's basically impossible for another customer to have taken the money, so wasn't careful at all with it.

I agree with @toby. While it is (maybe) useful to be reminded not to leave significant amounts of money somewhere that people you don't know can take it without your knowledge, it would be *far* more useful to know that the staff of a particular establishment are thieves and dishonest. There are probably many other ways they might cheat, scam or steal from a customer.

Even when I am with a deliheru gal, even a repeat, I make sure I only carry enough to pay plus a little more and my wallet is buried deep and bag shut tight and out of the obvious way. As nice as some girls/guys may be/seem the staff/customers are not probably social workers. Customers are wallets on legs in most cases in fuzoku and if the two get separated, you don't have a leg to stand on when lost cash is involved. Can't believe you just left it there, Okayspot, TBH. Are we not getting the name because you will be going back regardless? They will be all smiles.

Yes plan to go back at least once to use it as a conversation piece with the girls, it's worth paying 5,000 yen just to see what the girls have to say. And on the off chance something was knocked into their senses and the owner beat them into giving me the money back(not going to happen!)

It's off the beaten path, they rejected me when I first went in for being foreigner, doubt anyone else has ever there.
I still think it was just a plot between the male staff and the girl, not the entire shop itself. I've been such a high paying customer that the loss of ten's of thousands of yen doesn't make sense for them to plot out the stealing of only 50,000 yen and losing me as a customer.

They know you are addicted & will keep coming back. Sorry to say that but who would get their money stolen, know who stole, & go back.
This is more of signs of addiction than trying to put a price range on how much one spent.

Will be going to oppai bars anyway... in terms of girls quality this is the best place I've seen(owner was a former scout).
as above guy says was my fault for being stupid with my wallet. If I start going to a different place instead it's not like they are going to be hurt.

you must always have your wallet with you. Ideally, it shoud be on your pants' backpocket. In places where you have to take a bath, always use the transparent plastic envelope they provide. You put your wallet inside it and take it with you inside the shower.

From his post history, @okayspot is an easy mark. :phantom:

We need 'suppository wallets' or something... Empty aluminum cigar holders?

Want I want the most is something where I can catch them red-handed... make myself just seem like a stupid easy mark.. is there any idea of something I can put in a trick wallet that will like make a huge sound or spill paint all over them etc?

You are way over thinking this guy.
Licking of boobs might be distorting your viewpoint.
You got robbed, so you want to go back spend more money with them to trick them to steal your money again.
Replace yourself with your best mate's name & pretend he is telling you this story.

I was kidding - though it worked for 'Papillion' - I hope you are. Listen to what Desktop said!

Dunno if it is relevant, but I booked a new half delivery health girl to come to my apartment. (When she turned up she was fucking disgusting, but that is definitely not relevant.) I was pretty drunk. After she left I noticed that my cards had fallen out of my wallet but figured I must have done that when I went to get her money. The next morning I realised she'd pilfered my (very expensive) watch.

I emailed the agency and insinuated that she must have picked it up by mistake and that it was a family heirloom so could I have it back. Went and picked it up the next day, no problem. (Made a mental note never to order that girl again.)

The fact you got it back amazes me, must have had problems with that person before.... I tried to go back and say oh I dropped 50,000 yen on the floor when I went to pay.... of course nothing was there, they told me they would hand it back to me next time I come.

I somehow doubt even on the 1% chance that I actually just "dropped" the money, that I would be seeing it back.

Okayspot - are you totally sure that on the way to this oppai bar you did not slip your hard-earned ¥50,000 into your pants back pocket instead of your wallet and you just forgot? You must have been a bit preoccupied, afterall. Let's call it a 'mammary loss'.

@okayspot - With all due respect and with no intent to get personal, reporting that a crime was committed against you by/at a specific shop but then being unwilling to provide the information required for your TAG comrades to avoid the place (or to take extra-preccautions to protect themselves if they do patronize it) seems significantly contrary to the whole purpose and spirit of this board. It limits my sympathy and increases my skepticism concerning the whole matter.

Of course you could be correct that none of the rest of us ever has or could go there or get in, but surely you might also be wrong. What's the problem with IDing the place so as to err on the side of caution?

I think Okayspot digs rejection and then complaining/bragging about it. Weird buuuut not that bad imo (at least relative to paying 50K to have a girl poop on you).

Honestly, I think the fetishy guys get more bang for your buck out of P4P than meat and potato guys like me :)
