How Do You Feel About Plastic Surgery?

It depends, i got some birthmarks on my body frozen the same way they usually do with wards, and it worked very well. You need to repeat it a few times but then they go away unless they're very deep in your skin. Never heard them doing it in Japan though. But they do laser here and that also doesn't scar very bad. Only cutting them out would scar (which is pretty standards for really dangerous ones) and you could try to let them cut it and stitch the skin together to remove the scarred spot after it's healed.

I'm lucky i don't scar badly so even though i definitely have been scarred during life, its hardly outstanding and takes time to notice on my body.

Count yourself lucky ;) not everybody is scaring badly so the advice for people to get it removed is a bit intimidating. Nobody is perfect or flawless, not even escorts :) and I think that's good.

Scars suck ass. When I was 16 I suffered depression and did some stupid stuff which left me with some pretty sizable scars. Not to mention tattoos I want removed. I am waiting for laser to get better though as I have way too many to just remove so easily (or cheaply)

I would rather use that money on keeping my youth and remove them later

At least the tattoos pretty much conceal your scars. ^^

Lasering big tattoos is not only expensive but also leaves the skin in a bad condition as far as i know. :(

I'm with @Sudsy here. A little imperfection only enhances beauty.

Where I come from plastic surgery is covered by NHS, if there is a medical indication (disfigurations usually get one, unless it's really minor).

If it's only for vanity, don't ask me to pity you if things go wrong. But it's ultimately everyone's own decision. I won't encourage people to do it, but neither would I blame them. It's an individual decision one has to take with all the consequences.

Generally I prefer natural though. I'm also with @roots reggae I can appreciate most breast sizes and usually they fit well to the person as they are.

I don't see the lure of imperfection really.

Ms. Jennifer,

Not sure what you mean by "imperfection." As far as I am concerned, there is really no such thing as "perfection" and for that matter, "imperfection."

What it is, is what it is. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, and in my warped view of the world, in the long run, the most enduring beauty is internal, not external.

I've always been very supportive for surgery on the body (everybody who wants it should have huge tits and a big ass), but when it comes to face, results vary much more (outside of Korea, of course).

Why is it necessary for a girl who's considering plastic surgery to get huge tits and a big ass? Some women don't want that. Breast implants that are too big can cause back pain and other health problems as well.

You're the kind of person I'm talking about in the first post. Anyone who's considering going under the knife should do it for their own satisfaction, not to impress you or anybody else.

I am curious- for any American who said that plastic surgery should be done for a person's own satisfaction, and not to impress anyone else...

Do you feel the same about making crooked teeth straight with orthodontics? I will guess for many, the answer would be 'No'. Interesting double standard there.

Well, if everything is "perfect", it appears artificial or manufactured. Minor flaws make the whole package seem more natural... think of the difference between machine made pottery and hand thrown/hand painted.

Most noses done by plastic surgery turn out like mine so should I break it so it looks less 'perfect'?

The most expensive things aren't imperfectly hand made vases. They are perfectly hand made vases.

I think plastic surgery is perfectly fine. Its your own body youre modifying and if you feel uncomfortable in your own skin, why not modify it so you do. Just keep it in consideration that not everyone will see eye to eye with you and may judge you resulting in segregating or trwating you different. As for myself i dont have any plastic sugery but i dont like my skin beong covered in scars due to fights, so eventually i plan to cover myself in tattoos (not exactly plastic sugery, but i feel that it fits the point im trying to describe).

There are legitimate health reasons to make crooked teeth straight so I wouldn't say it's the same thing. On the other hand, I don't really have a problem with plastic surgery.

I suggest you chill for a bit. I wrote "everybody who wants it should have huge tits and a big ass", which you quoted, and then told me "Why is it necessary for a girl who's considering plastic surgery to get huge tits and a big ass?". I never made it a necessity, I just said people should be free to do what they want to themselves... which is similar to your conclusion.
Everybody who wants a big nose should feel free to undergo plastic surgery and have one. Will you also quote this and tell me "Why is it necessary for a girl who's considering plastic surgery to get a big nose?"?
We're supporting the same point, so don't be so harsh and judgemental.

There are also health reasons for "cosmetic" surgeries like breast reductions, mole removals and nosejobs (sometimes straightening a crooked nose to make breathing more easy).

And you can be healthy with a bit crooked teeth as well.

Really up to the person what they do.

Yes. And not all people with perfect features look the same so it wouldn't get boring either.

Of course "perfect" is subjective but certain things are just almost always more pleasing to the eye than others. I think generally anything crooked or broken gives a vibe of imperfections although it may have charms to some people. (Can't say i'm totally numb to that, some types of scars on men attract me. But i don't want them on my own body.)

I feel like i'm so close to "perfect" looks i might actually reach it if i keep improving.

This is exactly what I strive for. I love the porn star look. I think its amazing and want to make it work even when I'm not wearing makeup.

I dont care if someone has crooked or out of shape parts. Not my body, not my business. I've even enjoyed company with men missing limbs and found it quite the experiance!

I would say my face is close to perfect. I love my nose and my eye shape and im not going to plump my lips up anymore because I think my lips are sweet as they are. I will however do what I can to maintain my youth and lose more weight.

Nothing wrong with wanting perfection. And I think there are enough men who love girls with surgery as there are men who don't!

I can't say anything against others personal taste. As I said. Not my body; not my problem. Not my preference; Not my business.

Not actually true in Japan

Agreed and most expensive does not equal most beautiful. Once again, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

In my opinion, craft-made beats manufactured when it comes to the Arts. The beauty lies in the individuality of the piece.

Might just apply to humans...

?

Not sure what the most expensive thing in Japan is but the Japanese have quite a drift for always wanting to improve.

Sometimes the beauty is in the imperfection
