Best Hamburger

I have tried several burger places in the top 10 list on Tabelog. But I wasn't very impressed, especially the number 1 at that time, Shake tree, wasn't that good.

One place that I like is Martini burger. I like the thick patty and the meat is medium rare.

But probably the best burgers are my homemade lamb burgers :D

I've tried many of the places mentioned in this thread and others; imo this place has the best burgers in Tokyo, and inside it feels more like you are in a California burger shop than in Japan as well.

It is perhaps worth adding that this place also has a lot of generally authentic and very good casual-style American food other than burgers, from grilled cheese or peanut butter & jelly sandwiches to milkshakes, fried chicken and onion rings...and much more. So, you don't have to be a burger enthusiast to enjoy it. I believe/hope that @User#8628 liked her meal(s) there, and she is a vegetarian.

I started going there shortly after the place opened, years back, when the owner was the only employee and slept there (in a sleeping bag I think) because he'd buried *all* of his money in getting the place open. I haven't seen him there in a long time, and there are now a few other branches of the mini-chain...a great success story and very well deserved.

What do people not like about Kua Aina? I think it's pretty good.

I can pass on Shake Shack though - unless there's no wait.

Who has the Best Hamburger around Shibuya,Shinjuku or Tokyo area?
All honesty? I do. haha
But I assume you are looking for a burger shop.
There use to be a place in Zama called OMG burger, but that is long gone. I also second firehouse. near Tokyo dome great date walk at evening.

good BBQ place nearby, you won't see me near a burger place.
Agree.

Here are some good places that are very popular with my stomach!
Roti - $$$
Green Yokohama - $$
Smokehouse - $$$
Vashon - $$

I like Just Meet in Kichijoji, Village Vanguard Diner. Went to JS Burger in Shinjuku the other day and was slightly let down.

Cruz Burger in Yotsuya is my personal favorite: http://tabelog.com/en/tokyo/A1309/A130902/13189090/ It's relatively new and I haven't heard a lot of buzz about it on the internet, but I love it and hope it survives.

I think it's much better than Firehouse, JS Burger, and Brozers - all of which are great in their own way. But the buns and meat and Cruz Burger are fantastic, along with a respectable selection of craft beers.

If I had to choose a 2nd place shop, it would be Roti in Roppongi, but it's a bit pricey and I rarely go to the Roppongi area...
