anyone have any recommendations for ropes to tie up your partner with? - guess i can get something on amazon?

any recommendations for covered anal sex (good condoms / lube)?
I normally used coconut oil for uncovered but dont wanna do that anymore for fear of disease / convenience of her not having to be prepared down there etc

Any other sex toy recommendations?

Donki has a lot of ropes and toys, quality is not worse than in normal sexshops i think.
Lots of those shops in Japan either so you don't have to bother with internet (unless buying them in a shop is embarrassing to you).

Lots of different brands lube as well. Pepe is a popular one in Japan. The ones spefically for the "back door" might be the best bet.

Love this store! It was my main place to shop when I first came to Japan.

And... the first place in Japan I bought sex toys, so fascinated with that roped off section.

For the longest time, I did not know the name of the shop and referred to it as the Constipated Penguin store.

Hahaha, the first time i hears people talking about don quiote/donki hote i though they said donkey hotel (understandable). First i wondered why everyone was obsessed with this mysterious "very cheap" hotel, even though they had houses in Tokyo. And why they named the hotel after an animal. Then when i found out it was a shop i still thought the name was "donkey hotel" at first and wondered why they named a store "hotel"...

Should you get into wax play, get a vinyl matress cover and sheets you don't mind ruining. Wax is almost impossible to get out once it stains. I also suggest paraffin wax in long tapered candles from higher until you get more experienced to know how hot different waxes get and the tolerance of the person you are with.

I agree with others that the tape is more fun than rope.

You can buy special bdsm candles at sex toy stores that have a number of features designed to make them more suitable for play: one is use of low melting temperature wax that is not supposed to get hot enough to burn skin. Another is the opposite of a normal tapered candle's shape...meaning a wide area around the wick in which the melted wax can pool and cool somewhat, allowing a larger amount to be dumped on the sub at once rather than being dripped a little at a time as it melts. Also it seems to be easier to flake off of the skin and fabric after it cools and hardens. Obviously you pay more than you would for an ordinary candle.

I agree with others that the tape is more fun than rope.

I wouldn't say necessarily better in all ways, but it is certainly a quicker and easier way to get someone restrained than rope. It is not as flexible or stretchable as good shibari rope, which can be a major disadvantage for some types of tape.

Get a small pair of rounded-point and not especially sharp scissors, like children's craft scissors, for cutting the tape off of the sub when the time comes to release her/him.
