Your Go-to Drink

As far as alcohol goes I'll take a good beer that's not American...alertnatively whiskey if I'm feeling the hard stuff.

Non-alcoholic, I gotta have my royal milk tea!

When it comes to alcohol I usually stick with beer and scotch, when I drink with my dad it's beer, scotch and wine. When it comes to non alcoholic drinks I like to drink as much water as possible and sometimes ice tea or coffee.

Currently sitting on my cafe terrace drinking a Golden Eye pale ale from bonnie Scotland. But as it's summer, Pimm's and lemonade goes down well, as does an elderflower mojito. But in the end, and although I love dark rum from Martinique, it has to be a gin and tonic.

Mines is Ginger Ale.

Not really a drinker but love Grey Goose and Pineapple.

Those of you who have read some of my food-related threads may recall that I am somewhat of a fanatic when it comes to nutrition. While many are addicted to soft drinks, I truly cannot remember the last time I had one.

My everyday, at least three times a day, drink is cranberry juice. Now, most commercial juices are either blends with sweet fruit juices, and others are contaminated with high fructose corn syrup or other forms of sugar, I drink my straight up, just pure cranberry juice, made from concentrate. It's rather difficult to find pure cranberry juice. I buy mine from Vitacost. I buy a 32 ounce concentrate and that lasts me about two weeks. The cost is $19.42:

It is rather tart, however, I've acquired the taste to drink it without sweeteners, Here are few of the benefits

1. Prevents and relieves urinary tract infections

2. Cardiovascular health

3. Prevents tooth decay

4. Aids weight loss

5. Helps prevent cancer

6. Aids digestion

7. Immunity booster

8. Vitamin C

9. Healthy pregnancy
