Curious, could you be more specific as to whereabouts in Shin-Okubo? It's a pretty large and sprawling area.

Also the park you mention, I couldn't find anything on gmaps that resembles a park near the S-O Donki...

It seems a bit riskier on a few fronts:
* Legality (that is, cops jumping out and going "Gotcha!")
* Since it's not an established place, or at least a private but respected/reviewed escort, it seems there's the higher chance of, well, waking up the next day with no memories, money.

...so I'd definitely want to hear more firsthand stories before wandering...

ive tried this several times. to be honest its like fast food (eat n go).

Cross the first small road with traffic signals, keep going, then any of the next three alleyways on the right, and the cross street at the bottom of those alleys. I think unless you are specifically into foreign women and ladyboys, deai cafe if a much better shot.
Comparable prices and service and there are younger, better looking girls and its not dark.
I'm not an expert of course but in Shinookubo i have only seen what looked like 40 years old Chinese ladies and their prices don't seem that cheap actually. Deai cafe or soapland quicky is also available for about 15.000 yen and seems a bit safer.

Of course if streetwalkers are really your game, thats cool.
I think user "darkholer" had a thread about some place near Yokohama that seemed better than Shinookubo.
