I'm sure it will sell, but it's still just porn... but in your face. There's no sensation or feeling other than what you see. It's still manual work, lol!

Show me a hands-free device that's connected to VR where you don't have to touch yourself, that's a winner.

I think porn vr has a way to go. Many of the shooters don't know how to shoot for vr...yet but some of them are improving. I read something recently that by 2030 porn vr will be one of the top money makers in the world in the entertainment tech field. I like the real thing best but vr may not be such a bad second. In the future.

Very good point. Its a damn early start to a new technology that is still in its early infancy. Just like computers when they first started, it needed time to build and grow to become a much better entity for the public to want and own. Just ignore the hype for now and see how VR turns out down the road!
 
Well, remember that a ton of video technology either quickly built in support for porn, or actually became a huge success due to porn- movie theaters, VCRs, the internet and video streaming.

There's a few sites that have this available, but my favorite piece of news is that sex robots are now here. Well, they've been here for a while, but now we can combine them with the existing Scarlet Jóhannsson bot
 
They had a VR booth at the adult expo yesterday. They had both the cardboard version, which you they gave you one to take home for free, as well as the HD headset version. It was kind of cool, but the scenes were all pretty standard. Guy just lays there, and the girl does her thing. I remember looking up and being like "oh, there's a ceiling fan...cool."

So from here it looks like they have to get a bit more creative with their scenes to utilize the technology. I'd say it would work very well with orgy scenes. Like 10 girls in cosplay in a soapland situation. :rolleyes:
 
My understanding is that the camera angle is currently limited due to the possibility of motion sickness if the pov wasn't completely still. Your eyes are telling you you are moving but the rest of your motion receptors aren't firing causing nausea. I'll find a link when I'm not on my phone.
