....whoever you are....

Wonder how much that cost?

Looks like each one was bought by a different person, or at least given in different peoples' names.

Went back... Here's a pic from the outside:

I've dreamt of being a kabajo in one of those shops on kuyakusho dori (mainly Orange Terrace) and having my face on a promotion truck for a while. Then i realized how awfully boring and unfinancially rewarding (the club gets most of the money) kyaba is, plus those top places probably will never hire a foreigner.

Maybe you could consider becoming a mama*/nee-san and live your dream. I don't think the boss has to stay in the background.

I've actually really thought of that!
It seems super fun to me but hostessing is really not my line of work so it may be too stressful. But when i'm at an older age i'd definitely be interested in either owning a (small) place with hostesses or being some kind of madame.

"Madame" sounds great! I would love to be called "madame" but in real world, being a mama-san at a Fuzoku shop or high end social club is not something I would like to try...
Directing young spoiled girls is tough. Even Oka-san at Gesha house are having hard time to train teenage girls now days.

A deli health girl told me she made almost as much doing hostess work as deli health. She said she likes deli work better though. Shop takes a lot in both cases but she spends more of her working hours 'working' with hostessing

pfffffffffffffffffffffftttttttttttt :watching:
Stalk much?
Seriously, I thought you were dead or something.
You just vanished for months at a time and suddenly, you message me out of the blue 'cause you locked yourself out, good job.

Wow, I just walked by this thing and it has continued to grow larger. I walked by and did a double-take and the hostess club doorman smirked at me.

Bigger? Will have to take a walk by there tomorrow, if it's all still there.

I could be wrong and maybe it just looks bigger in real life as I didn't pull my phone out to compare.. :p
That chick must be the real Kabukichou #1 if it's that big of a display and it's been kept out that long. I've been here a long time and never seen that level of display, lol. When new companies open an office, they have flower arrangements like that... one stand from one person or company, but for a hostess... Hmmm. not that I can recall.

Yup, i tried some drinking work as well but i like SW better. It feels more honest and upfront, and feels like you are really giving something to the person you are with, i didn't get that feeling from drinking and talking to them. Plus alcohol and long nights are body killers.

Humm, if you pay close attention to the board under the flowers, it seems like most of them are given by her co-worker/ hostess friends besides the one on the very left.
I wonder if other hostesses are forced to buy those expensive flowers for the No. 1 girl of the shop?
