Hi All!

We will execute a fairly long maintenance window from Thursday (1/18) this week. Not to worry though, it will be mostly a live maintenance where the site stays up for everyone aside from a couple of brief moments.

Things happening....generally...
- Content Arrangement Changes [No downtime]
- Bug Fix Deployment [Short downtime*]
- Configuration Updates [No downtime]
- Regular System Maintenance [Short downtime*]
*Occurring in the same window.

During the content adjustment phase you may see content disappear and then reappear as things are moved around. You may experience errors such as access denied or not found messages while things are in transit. If you run into these errors, please just try again at a later time.

Because of data changes planned for this maintenance window, we will disable new member account creation for a time period until after the data changes have been completed.

Why Extended?
Basically, the core work that actually impacts our member viewing experience, will be completed at the start of the maintenance. The remainder of the extended maintenance is mostly related to the content management. It's a manual process and the idea is that after this clean-up phase, it will be easier in the future to move things around.

Thank you for continued support and understanding during the maintenance periods.

Update 1/22/2018:

A number movements are occurring in the review sections... please don't adjust your TV, it's a work in progress as we re-sort the various sections.

In other words, please don't report any issues until the dust settles.

Thanks!

Update: 1/27/2018

More things will be moving around today. We learned from the last movement that some read/unread markers became reset causing the "New Posts" indicator to show more unread posts.

You can use the "Mark Forums Read" button to the left, which gives you the option to mark everything as 'Read' so your New Posts indicator will go back to ZERO and will show you only new posts going forward. Please note that it's possible that this could occur again as more content is shifted. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
