News 2/27/2017 - Connection/Login Issues

All,

We have had a few cases reported to us about the ability to stay logged into TAG. We did expect some minor issues in this are since we changed server equipment over the weekend. While we tried to make the move in a seamless manner, there is always a chance for a small issue to appear.

If you are experiencing issues related to logging in and staying logged in, we would advise you to take these steps in order to help solve the problem:

1. If logged into TAG, actually and fully log out. (via your user tab at the top right)
2. Close the browser you're using.
3. Open your browser, load TAG and then force reload it: CTRL+F5 (or find your relative command here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Bypass_your_cache)
4. Log in. (tick the box to stay logged in, or leave it unchecked if you DON'T want to stay logged in.

The important step here is to actually logout while you appear to be logged in. So, login and then immediately logout. Then, carry on with the steps above.

Update: 2/28/2017

We have made some small adjustments this evening to help nail down this issue with staying logged in. It was found that at least two of the reported cases were using special browsing modes which may have been conflicting with some of our new settings after moving over this past weekend.
