Hello Everyone!

This update was due to be released on April 1, 2018 but due to numerous circumstances, some of this has been delayed.

Here are some changes that are being implemented going forward.

Reviews
Due to some significant problems with the quality of reviews, we are going to further restrict how reviews are evaluated and released. There will be additional factors considered more consistently when it comes to approving new reviews. For security reasons and to avoid people from trying to circumvent these new rules, we are not going to publish the exact criteria that we are looking at. It's safe to say though, if you are coming here to just post a review and leave, don't expect your review to be approved. Sorry.

In regards to review commenting - please expect that we will take a more stringent approach to closing down reviews when the comments are not about the review itself. We may elect to ban specific members from posting comments or just simply lock the review completely.

Accountability
This rule is mostly of Karen's making since she's mainly handling account management. We may soon not allow registration from @hotmail.* @outlook.com @live.com addresses due to constant address rejections from people who are using these addresses. 7/10 users that register a new account with one of these domains, we found that our messages are blocked or rejected due to the member marking it as spam or the account is dormant and will not accept new messages. A requirement for an active account on TAG is a valid, working email address. (Email addresses/accounts that are detected as junk, temporary or otherwise bounce are rejected and banned.) We no longer will conduct follow-ups since this is very time consuming and most of the time, people don't care enough to reply. Furthermore, additional checks are being put in place for people that make a new account and do not confirm their email address in a timely manner. (You won't be able to read anything until you confirm your address!)

Private Messaging
We have implemented additional filtering to block those people who are found to be spamming members with websites that are not permitted to be linked on TAG. If we get more than three reports, your account private messaging ability will be suspended indefinitely. Additionally, new members may be restricted form using private messaging due to these previous abuses.

TAG Manager (me)
I will taking a step back from my daily involvement with TAG. Due to a number of things in my personal life plus professional life, I need to try and limit my time spent on TAG as far as posting goes. I will still perform my usual management tasks and I will still be visible, but probably not as much as you are used to seeing. This does not mean that TAG is slowing down, I just wanted to explain why you may not see me publicly posting as much as before. Please, please, please stop sending me private messages unless I've asked you do so - if you have a request for the site, please send a request via our "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page. If you send me a private message, I can't always read it or process it immediately. A support ticket is more universal and assures a better response time.

U.S. Rules (New)
Referring to this thread: https://tokyoadultguide.com/threads/sesta-fosta-law-passage-what-it-means-for-tag.18583/

At this time, we have made some preparations for anything that could potentially knock TAG offline, but after reviewing all the material currently available, we are not taking any actual action as of now. As stated, we are operating as a legal Japanese entity and all of our core user content is targeted towards Japan. We are not directly providing any sort of service to anyone outside of Japan (advertising, etc.) and from a legal point of view, we should not be subject to any of the new rules that will heavily impact U.S. focused pages/sites. We will of course be watching larger sites and possibly follow their lead if we see something making waves in the industry outside of the U.S. That all said, we completely support the eradication of human trafficking and the abuses suffered by those who have been caught up in a trafficking situation. We urge all members to be vigilant and if you see someone that appears to be a victim of trafficking, please take the logical moral steps to get that person some help.

Introductions
This section of our site is now fully-moderated. This has been changed due to the constant attempts to side-step our advertising rules. We will reject any content posted that has anything to do with advertising, period. We will approve neutral content as long as it's strictly an introduction without links or attempts to advertise a service. (Escort or not!)

Thank you reading and we appreciate your continued support!
