good morning TAG members!

Even though I don't want to admit it, looks like its time to look into some male enhancement suppliments. My last two times out, little J does not want to cooperate. Besides viagra, which requires a perscription, what's available over the counter here in Japan that will help me keep an errection. Any help would be appreciated!

To be frank, Viagra and the like are basically OTC. Yes, you have to go to a clinic to get it... but it's extremely easy and straightforward.
Since ED meds are easily available, I'm not sure what else is out there that you could buy off the shelf.

Don't buy into those 'performance' enhancing drugs/chemicals that they sell at the adult shops... (pills, liquids, powders...)

If you're in Tokyo, a popular clinic:

I agree with @TAG Manager on this. Those Herbs in those pills can be fatal if taken/induced with the wrong quantities. I've read into this before when I was younger but had to settle and learned how to use what I got.

Go to the clinic and maybe they can also give you psychotherapy recommendations since most of the time that seems to be the main source of the dilemma.

Good luck and use them M&M's wisely.

It would be worth going to see a urologist if you ask me.

Are you sure you know what is causing your erectile dysfunction?

Taking Viagra without consulting a doctor can be a very bad choice. It is a medicine that changes your blood pressure and if you're in your late 30s or above, chances are you could have a cardiovascular issue or too.

You want to make sure you get the dosage right, and don't you want to know why you're having problems?

Most of the ones in the States that are effective are usually spiked with Viagra anyway, and a year or two down the line are pulled off the shelves by the authorities for utilizing controlled substances.

I've done research on this topic previously and just updated info and sources.

I'll start with a news source. News articles must always be taken with a grain of salt. This one is from an American Television News show, CBS:
It discusses former NBA star, Lamar Odom and his experience with over the counter erectile enhancers:

LAS VEGAS -- Authorities say NBA star Lamar Odom had taken over-the-counter sexual performance enhancement drugs before he was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel.

The Food and Drug Administration, Mayo Clinic and others have warned against taking these supplements, sometimes called herbal Viagra. Here is a look at these products:

What are they and how are they different from Viagra?

The next article is from The Mayo Clinic. It describes various remedies, their effectiveness, and super importantly, side effects.

Finally, an informative guide to the most frequently used remediesfrom a group of doctors on a commercial site, WebMD.. It's layout may be confusing. When you click on one of the remedies, you are taken to a page with the names of the supplement,

The above are tabs. Make sure you click on the "side effects" and "interactions" tab.

@TAG Manager gives sound advice, as usual.

Oh yes.. Lamar Odom's blowout at the Bunny Ranch. If I had his means to go all-out then I would have gone for prescription ED pills with 70/30 combination of downers and uppers... He could've at least have Charlie Sheen noticed him. Good one @roots reggae .

@Jbagz has a good point too. If you're closer to 40 or over, getting a full physical would definitely benefit you. Relying one medications is one thing but getting fully recuperated and able to function on your own should be your ultimate goal.

Thank you all for all the information. As always, the TAG community comes through!

Its been awhile, @roots reggae. Thanks for offering those links. I will definitely give them a read.

@Jbagz, don't watch too much these days, but its been a good 3 years since my last real physical cause I do really hate needles and doctors. I guess it's about time and get a proper read out on myself.

Thanks again, TAG!

Missed this thread.

Before jumping on the medication, get a full medical. Seriously. Sudden onset of erectile dysfunction is a primary indicator of uncontrolled type II diabetes.

The other trick is doing some stairs. PC muscle plays a huge role.
