Advice pls re shipping goods from Japan to Australia

What is the best way of shipping goods ( ie expensive guitar - therefore fragile) from Japan to Australia other than taking it on homeward flight?

Will shops ship it for you?

depends on how expensive this guitar is.
Japan post with EMS is pretty good.
Just need to pack it well. Very well. Add insurance on it.
It's a pain when you need to make a claim, but still, your options are limited.

Guitar , if purchased, will be an expensive PRS - good selection in Japan stores, not much here in Australia.- plus always the chance of a 2nd hand bargain in Japan.
