Beginners Guide To Hostess Bars

I'd say the customers most likely give reason for it. There are those terrible guys who get drunk and grab all girls their asses, often those men don't even have a shimei at the club though.
Then that type that you most likely mean, those who act really pathetic. For example a girl who's in a relationship outside of work, and her customer goes on and on about how he wants to get married to her. It does get on one's nerves i guess. Kyaba customers seem suprising enough more annoying than escort customers.
It used to be my dreamjob because of the beautiful dresses and hairsets, but now, after knowing better, it seems only a good job for me for girls who really want to avoid any sexual play with random guys. It does still pay double than a normal job, so why not, but for someone like me it feels like a waste of time!
Also with a lot of patience you can earn a lot from it, but at first, you get your hourly salary and most of what you see the guys around you spend goes to the club. Now i can justify taking a lot of money of a guy if its for me, but not if some club gets the biggest part of it. I'd only feel like eigyoing the guys because of the club's penalties.

As for hosts, yes, its getting lucky. If a girl enters a host club and falls in love with a boy and does as he wants, she definitely has more chance to lose all her money than to make a real boyfriend.
yes thats exactly it, its the type of customer that comes to kyabakura. The ones in the groups for work know its just fun and chat and dont talk it seriously. A lot of the other ones though are lonely guys that dont have luck with woman so they pay to spend time at hostess clubs, they make a majority of the customers and they can get clingy as all hell. then you have to creepy guys that constantly try to touch you, come on to you asking you constantly if they are your type, lets go on a date etc.

This just isn't true. A lot of the kyaba/hoestesses I've met have pretty much ONLY dated guys they've met at their club. But, it was generally the guys who spent a lot of money on them over a period of time and eventually made them an offer, for example "I'll pay all your rent at this apartment here and give you a salary as well and then date me and stop working at the club" or some such arrangement (the stopping working thing may or may not happen).

I was struck by this sentence. Do you think it's just kyaba or all night work?
but thats my point, if its money involved its never a REAL relationship. Its a deal, no feelings its sad. I think its very true of Kyaba and stripping but more so kyab. A lot of girls that do Kyaba are veryyy bitter by the end

There was money involved but it was a real relationship for sure. Some of them had a few such arrangements that were ruses / just for the money, but some were legit and involved feelings

Escorting is night life too btw

Well as I said in a previous reply to Alice, real relationships can happen but its just very rare. I know Escorting is night work but Ive never been an Escort so I cant speak for that...

I work as a hostess / exotic dancer in one of the clubs in Roppongi. Yes we do offer private dances, but.. Sometimes customers come just to talk and drink a bottle of champagne. May be as a hostess I shall offer my point of view:

The most common misconception about hostesses is that we all hate our customers. May be for some that's true. You usually hate everyone around you if you have had a trauma or hatred for yourself. I personally think most guys who walk in are just everyday people like you and me who just seek some easy entertainment or who are at some tough point in their lives and need some comfort.

The only types of customer who annoy me are either the misogynistic one or the ones who think I will do anything if they give me some drugs. May be there are drug abusers in the clubs but not all of us use drugs. In any case I will politely excuse myself.

I am very extroverted and I actually like getting to know new people. In any other scenario a girl like me in her twenties would never be able to meet and fraternize with so many men from so many different industries.

I only know about the strip clubs in roppongi so requesting a girl doesn't cost anything in strip clubs. If manager sends over a girl try to ask for a "line up" (talking about roppongi) instead and make sure the girl speaks English.

Yes we have low alcohol drinks. If you want a hostess / dancer for long time stay buy her a bottle and compensate for the drunkenness. She will devote her night to you so that's a nice gesture. We drink so many drinks that at the end we still get tipsy and you really don't want a wobbly legged girl who is half asleep next to you..

Yes our managers encourage us to "compliment" our customers. But I hate that shit, lol. It is funny when you say a 250 pound man has oh so big muscles, so I try to be polite, funny, flirty and just be myself without scripts instead of blatantly lying on some mans face. My customers like me as who I am.

I actually enjoy the company of some of my customers. I have a regular who comes every week and tells me about his plans for colonizing Mars and asteroid mining. And then we go to private dance. Haha.

So hope you guys enjoyed my point of view : )

I also really like my clients. Asking them for drinks or anything upsell just feels kind of painful to me. If they offer me things or extra money i'd gladly accept but hostessing (maybe stripping is different) felt like i constantly had to push guys to come and to buy stuff and it didn't feel good.
It isn't hard for me to compliment clients, maybe only looks would be hard but there is always something to find. They are often very smart or kind.

Thanks for your reply ! What I meant was making very superficial kind of compliments like "you look so handsome" or "your biceps are so big", lol. Of course everyone has a side of them that you may like. Especially for women a guy who makes them feel comfortable is the most important thing. Thanks for being a nice person who works in the industry, we really need to upgrade our reputation!
