Notes:
  • Unconfirmed.
This means that I either called the shop and/or found details indicating the likelihood that foreigners are allowed/banned. I would like to keep these shops "unconfirmed" until a decent number of attempts to enter and call the shop have been made.

  • ❌ no good, or ✅ Confirmed.
This means that I or a TAG member was given service OR was immediately refuted at the doorstep. I am a caucasian man, so race/nationality does matter when attempting to get into soaplands and it is highly possible that I was refuted for my skin color or ethnicity. I will try to provide more information here based on reviews by other members. Please be aware that depending on your nationality, you may be refuted service even if the soapland is a confirmed YES; inasmuch, you may be provided service even if it is a confirmed NO. These are guidelines, not guarantees.

  • ⚠️Warning.
This means that entry is possible, but a certain specific condition that requires research and or difficult-to-access information is necessary in order to gain access to the shop. This can include hime nominations and/or unique access privileges granted due to nationality or preference by the staff.

  • Group
In this column, I have listed the soap group the shop belongs to, should they have one. This is to keep track and predict likelihood of getting service. So far, any soaplands in Yokohama that are distinctly displayed as part of a group show a lack of affinity to foreigners. This however, also does not mean that "unspecified" shops are unaffiliated, nor does this mean that absolutely no group affiliated soap will allow/refute you at the door.

  • Cost (Time)
This is the baseline cost for service for a certain number of minutes. For example, ¥15,000(60) means the cost is 15,000 yen for 60 minutes. If a 1 and/or a 2 is indicated, this means that the cost you see is not what is listed on the website, but the cost when including the nomination and service fee the girl is paid to rotate on your groin. These price changes are more likely at luxury soaplands. As is advised on the Yoshiwara Soapland Thread, consider taking a few extra 10k bills with you when heading to the shop so that you aren't scrambling to an ATM mid-transaction (and even worse, potentially missing the girl as a result.)

  • Update
This is the last time the target soapland was updated.

Spreadsheet shamelessly stolen from @requiemmorrow thanks mate!

It was like 10 months ago so it might have changed, but back then I made a reservation on City Heaven for Sweet Mode (back then it already had a review here which said the reservation was made through CH), but to make sure I sent them a message asking if the provider was ok with Japanese speaking foreigners, and immediately they answered that they're sorry but as a shop they don't receive foreign clients and cancelled my reservation.

Cheers, will update the list accordingly. Later this spring I will personally visit all the Sakaecho shops.

Spreadsheet update, called all the non Sakaecho shops at the bottom of spreadsheet.

Inage Soapland and Goi-Chuo Steam has cast catering to Japanese speaking foreigners.
The other three only welcomes Japanese.

I made a reservation for Konoha from ALACARTE through cityheaven because they did not reply on twitter where i mentioned i was a foreigners and if it was alright to play. The next day i got my appointment cancelled and Konohas entire workday got removed. When i asked about it through cityheaven they said shes not working and that foreigners cant make online reservations (through cityheaven? Dont know if through twitter counts?) and you have to visit. Ill just assume shes sick or something and they didn't cancel her online because a foreigners asked lol. I'm not about to go there and risk a walk-in, a shame really.

Online reservations and Himeyoyaku* are two different things.
If shop and girl is fine with foreigner's himeyoyaku is most likely fine.

*Princess reservation directly with the girl.

Some shops say you can't make reservations through CH if you're a foreigner, but I feel that's bullshit, just because it's not that different from making a hime-yoyaku and that's usually just fine with a shop.

I actually used CH for the first time to reserve a girl in Ikebukuro, but they had expressly set it up to mark that you are one while making the reservation.

I have been tempted to just ignore the warning because I feel it's more targeted to people who may be overseas and using a VPN to do the reservation, but goddamnit, I live here and it's handy to do it online lol

Yes, most likely, but they did not differentiate in their response so i assume its just through cityheaven that its not possible for foreigners. Couldn't check the difference because they didn't respond on twitter sadly. I prefer to book through himeyoyaky anyway if at all possible.

Noticed Jukujo Club Its A still has questions for acceptance, so just wanted to chime in that I've been there several times over the past 12 months, and it's been a positive experience every time. AJP.

OTOH, OL Ako has told me to GTFO on multiple occasions. I was hoping they'd be OK since they're the same group. It's been a few months so imma try again when next I'm in Chiba. Actually, I think calling them first might be a better option, since some places that initially refused walk ins later accept after a phone call.

Doesn't matter what you think, if it's the rule it's the rule. Especially in Japan it doesn't make sense to question everything.

Just stick to what the girl and the shop tells you to do...that's they way to go. If you turn out to be a good customer they will be more open to different ways of booking.

Oh yea, accepted at Plaza2 last Fall. I went just once though. AJP

Speaking of the walk of shame, it really stinks to build up the courage, walk in and and get smacked down... to the point I've almost given up on Chiba. The gems more than make up for it though. Good luck on your quest this Spring.

I have business in Chiba in May, this spreadsheet comes at a fortunate timing, Cinnabums should be in the TAG Hall of Fame when it happens.

I may have time to try a shop or two depending on my free time, I'm seriously considering an attempt at ikinari love

I will be arriving in Tokyo on Thursday. I am looking for a place like Club Amour in the Chiba are and came across this post. What exactly does Alacarte offer? I'd love to experience the chair wash, bathtub and mat play and looking for suggestions. The reason I ask about the Chiba area is I will be at Star Wars Celebration with my daughter and looking at a closeby place to go to while she is there and I am out exploring that area. Thanks for any help.

First off, thanks to @Cinnabums for putting this awesome resource together.

I'm staying in the Chiba area currently and I'm very keen to tick soaplands off my bucketlist. I'm curious about the levels of Japanese required - I'd say I can get myself across pretty well in conversations but I wouldn't want to call somebody on the phone. My strategy so far is to find girls with Twitter profiles and DM them but so far only one at Blue Marine responded positively. I got a pretty official 'no gaijin' response from a girl at Alacarte despite the resource above suggesting it was a good option.

I don't really want to take a chance on a walk in without some idea of what I'm getting and I also have to do this all with military precision i.e. not spending time browsing around.

Is there a better strategy for finding girls who are open to kind-of-intermediate Japanese speakers than what I'm doing? TIA
