So I finally had a chance to check out the famous seventh heaven in Roppongi (Thanks to @hkAlone and @Sarah Miehn ) The trip itself was very interesting and of course I enjoyed making out with Sarah in front of other dancers and customers however, I wanted to watch more professional pole dance. They surely have gorgeous girls but all they did on stage was just shaking their body/butt, grabbing their tits, twisting their body. It was not a real pole dance at all.

Do you know any strip clubs in Tokyo where you can watch professional pole dance?

A date once took me to "The Office" lounge in Roppongi. Most of the women were professional pole dancers and they gave an incredible show! :)

Speaking of pole dancing.. and this is a little off-topic.. I would kill to see Infinity (aka Pole Assassin) live. Check this out!!

Even in the US most women at strip clubs don't know how to use the pole, they just hang off of it most of the time.

Both have no private rooms but are better quality when you simply just 接待 foreign friends.

Personally, my hang out spot is ARENA in Shinjuku, super cheap compared to all the other options around town.

I forgot about the office. I didn't see so much spectacle when i was there but the atmosphere was really good and if i'd ever try to work at a stripclub (i'm much too shy to dance in public though, i really like one to one action or even 3p) that would be my place of choice if they'd have me, i think.

They have had dancers at The Office who went on to do well in international pole dancing competitions, including winning in some cases...but that was long ago, and the place has changed ownership since those days. I haven't been there in years.

There are pole dance studios in Tokyo where you can take classes from very high level dancers, and at least some of these studios sponsor or organize occasional elaborate one-off or short-run shows at Tokyo various nightclubs, often for holidays. Dear Manami Chan,

I'm still recovering from our night.

Indeed the office has some nice performances on the pole.
I do feel Tantra is a more expensive, less ethical version of seventh heaven. I don't remember that much about any exceptional performance... But very good looking performers.

By the way, I will wait another twenty years to write a report on that night.
I'm afraid about how much hatred it would trigger within the TAG community....

You can't really appreciate the dance performances if you spend all your time in the VIP private dance "rooms"...my usual problem too. :D

You are most welcome, Manami-san, and I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed it. I attend Pole Dance Tokyo special events/shows regularly, and they are indeed spectacular and far far beyond what you see in ordinary strip clubs of course. I understand that there has even been discussions of making pole dancing an Olympic sport...but I have no idea if it is a realistic possibility.
