Depends on what you are comparing it for. Nurses make around 5 million per year.

In the modern countries it's not about being able to afford it, as it doesn't cost you anything, unlike in some backward places like the USA.

Wow that's lower than I expected, even knowing that salaries in Japan are generally a lot lower than the USA. I could see how some would turn to alternative sources of income.

This one provider told me she basically picked up delivery health shifts whenever she wasn't scheduled to work a the hospital. Said that delivery health suited her because she could set her own hours. I was also surprised that their take-home is only about 50% of what the shop charges, which she said was actually pretty good for the industry.

Their housing is heavily subsidized, and nurses are classified as government employees. As such get fantastic benefits towards retirement as well. (Hospital doctors have the same system)

Well, that 5M is still almost double what we were making at NOVA twenty years ago and I still, somehow, managed to have a really fucking great time. That said, during my "transitional" years in Japan I took on an easy side gig doing lessons at a medical college, and according to the future doctors I got paid to basically talk to in English about porn, sex, masturbating and ladyboys, basically every single female that enters the nursing program at the nursing school on campus does so to try snagging a doctor before graduation. I was told the strategy was so problematic that doctoral students were banned from associating with the nursing students. Kind of like the "non-fraternization" policies that NOVA enacted in the late-90s, and we all know how well those worked out.

50% + money from options is the standard for delivery health.
Soapland is usually 70% but the girl has to pay about 10.000 room rent fee a day and also buy her own condoms.

As for the topic, I haven't seen anyone bragging about their education yet. There is one SB who I know for sure she is so smart, based on just spending time with her. I found out later that she has got tons of scholarship, multiple degrees, and academic awards. Yet she never had to bring that up while we were together. I miss that girl.

As anyone else who used to be smart enough to come top of their year at one of the top universities in the world would know, just wear a t-shirt with your alma mater written in big letters all over it so everyone can see where you went to university. Though to be honest I have never seen anyone graduated from there to wear their t-shirt. It has been only the visiting students and researchers I have seen buying those.
