I just found this site through google and I was perviously a poster over at the pink guide. That forum has been dead for a long time now, since it was overtaken by russian and other spammer types.

Can't tell you how happy i was to find a local Tokyo site again! I can see that your site is new, but I have got some reviews to posts from since when the pink guide closed up.

Pink guide was a shitty place to begin with. Censored posts, favoritism to their advertising clients, etc. Just like Gaijin-Shit-Pot.... only the adult version.

I like the idea of this site, writing freedom, which is why came here. I just hope that the owners can get the popularity level a little higher among tourists and other foreigners living in Japan.

As far as the pink guide goes, it was just poorly managed with poor software. I just think the owner collects the advertisement money from the main site and just let the forum go. (Just my opinion...)

I'm originally from LA and that's where I live when I'm not traveling for work. I just spent the last two months jaunting around the globe and I'm just getting settled back in LA for the rest of the summer.
