Certainly, one of the more unusual bars that I've been to in Japan is the Dojo Bar down in Naha.
As its name suggests, the Dojo Bar has a martial arts theme. The main focus is on karate, which makes perfect sense because Okinawa is the birthplace of karate.
There is an extensive menu of food and drinks. Being a bar on Okinawa, it should come as no surprise that Orion is on tap, but other beers are available albeit mostly in bottles. Naturally, you can also find various types of awamori including habushu, if you dare
The place is popular with Western visitors. The friendly staff can speak English.
And, no, I didn't see any fights break out
