I'm going to be in Tokyo in a few weeks and wanted to know if anyone has any experience with getting dates up to the rooms at a hotel where you need a room key to access the floors. I'm staying at the Mandarin Oriental. My concern is two fold, privacy of course and the second would be I'm not sure if the front desk would care or not and if they would say anything.

I have also heard the concierge will assist with arranging escorts however that appears to be a bit of a stretch but who knows maybe it's true?

First, you need to learn that escorts are for foreigners. There are no escorts in Japan for local customers.

Maybe a westernized Japanese may use a service that also takes foreigners, but Japanese natives, it's like poison. If a girl tells a Japanese client that she has seen foreigners, that client will do what they call a 'change' and get a new girl or never come back to that girl or shop again. It's pretty harsh....
